Bed & Breakfast ARKEN AE

A wonderful place to stay just outside Amsterdam, a welcome break from the busy city. This B&B is located on a farm and includes their produce in the breakfasts. I was surprised at all the comforts offered and the staff were more than helpful and kind the entire time. We also made use of the bicycles and rode into Amsterdam, a pleasant trip in the sun. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to relax while being only a stones throw away from Amsterdam. Looking forward to visiting again.

Had a very peaceful and relaxing weekend here. Working farm in a beautiful location, nice farm shop. Easy to book. Sophie, the owner, is easy to contact and very helpful. The wagon we stayed in had very comfy beds, towels and a kitchen area to prepare the fantastic breakfast which has fresh milk and yoghurt from the cows, and eggs from the chickens on the farm. Sitting outside in the sunshine for breakfast listening to the birds and lambs, wonderful.
Will definitely stay here again when in Amsterdam.

This is a first bed and breakfast, i have ever stayed in where we could get mostly fresh breakfast. The host was kind to give us fresh milk and yogurt too. It was on a farm far from all the city noises which made the mornings so beautiful and filled with nature's noises. The trailers were comfortable and had enough space. The bathrooms were kept clean but they are common with all the visitors. If you coming here by car beware of a small bridge on the way, it seems too small but if will fit a car upto 2m width. But even with all that you will enjoy the stay there and hospitality.

We rented the boats for a tour around the farmlands, it was amazing and we had amazing weather.
I would definitely recommend and come again.

Very unconventional experience but very satisfying to be buying from a farm not a supermarket. Suggest calling in advance for shopping as they operate from their home and it seems more efficient.

Très belle localisation, lieu calme et chaleureux (il faut aimer la vie à la ferme), sanitaires communs, mais bien entretenus. Gros coup de coeur pour le petit déjeuner de qualité.
Personnel accueillant et disponible, qui nous propose de découvrir leurs animaux.
Seul bémol, les chambres dans lesquelles nous avons dormi étaient peu isolées, et il a fait froid la nuit.

Malgré ça, le séjour était agréable !

Romantische Unterkünfte in "Zirkuswagen" auf dem Bauernhof. Frühstück gibt es morgens im Korb zum Abholen. WCs und Duschen (je 2) sind in der Scheune untergebracht. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an kostenlosen Fahrrädern zur Benutzung und es gibt einen Bauernladen auf dem Hof mit einer sehr großen Auswahl an eigenen und zugekauften Produkten. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wenn man sich auf die einfach eingerichteten Wagen einlässt wird das ein besonderes Erlebnis in sehr ruhiger Lage. Wir sind/waren begeistert. ;-)

We kwamen hier langs en hebben van 'n heerlijke cappuccino genoten, bereid met verse melk, zo van de koe.
Een uitgebreide boerderij winkel met grote diversiteit aan producten tegen zeer schappelijke prijzen.
Door een zeer gastvrije boerin ontvangen die graag vertelt over hun bedrijf en met liefde ook hun dieren wil tonen. Een bezoekje meer dan waard. Van harte aanbevolen

Ik heb deze boerderij een aantal keren bezocht.Zeer vriendelijke hardwerkende mensen en ook altijd enthousiast ontvangen door 2 leuke hondjes.Goed gevulde boerderij winkel met (h)eerlijke producten.Afgelopen dinsdag een kajak gehuurd voor de eerste keer.Goede uitleg, (een map met vaarroutes,reddingsvest en waterdichte ton inbegrepen) en werd door de dochter geholpen met in en uitstappen.Prachtige tocht gemaakt in de omgeving,was zeer de moeite waard en voor herhaling vatbaar. Leuke boerderij met boerderij winkel waar we regelmatig verse producten kopen zoals Yogurtdrank en hangop. Erg lekker. Onlangs ook nog een vrijwilligers uitstapje gedaan met ze alle in de fluisterbootjes varen. Het was een groot succes. Leuke familie die het runt.

Vlierbessensiroop, melk rechtstreeks van de koe, lamslapjes, lams koteletten en super kippenbouten....zo van de boerderij.
Top adres en open tot 19.30 h.

Gevaren met een fluisterbootje en wat producten gekocht in het winkeltje. Erg vriendelijke eigenaren en medewerkers. Ontspannen sfeer en een wonderlijk mooie omgeving.

Wat een gezellige boerderijwinkel met terras. Lekker een bakkie troost met ern apprlgebakje of iets vers uit de kpelkast

Leuke boerderij winkel. Daarna met de kinderen naar de dieren kijken. Hardstikke leuk.

Helemaal geweldig leuke mensen je komt daar lekker tot rust , en goeie koffie
