Our group had fun in a short cheese tasting class. We learned about different types of cheeses, how they are aged, and the type of wine to pair them with. A must try if you love cheese and wine.

I didn’t really know what to expect when I booked this at home, I would have been happy being given cheese to taste and told what it was but these people took it to the next level. When you walk into the room it looks like a classroom with little desks but that’s as far as school goes. As each desk has 2 wine glasses and some water, a cheese guillotine to share and cheese to share. So the idea is that there is a little welcome speech, our presenter was Thomas and this was only his third class and he was nervous but he was very knowledgeable, helpful, and polite. Then one person selects the cheese and the other person cuts it thinly, you get a score card to evaluate each cheese-there are 6 and you taste them with and without wine. At the end Thomas will come around and sign the back of the card which is a certificate. There is a discount to be offered to buy the cheese upon completion. Really good experience-Thomas rocks.

We really enjoyed testing all the different kinds of cheese. The cool part about the cheese tasting is, that you will learn a lot about each cheese you eat and you additionally get some wine as well to taste the cheese with wine. I can highly recommend booking the tasting session in combination with a boat ticket.

We received a warm welcome in this cheese shop. We got to taste all the varieties that they hold. I recommend a visit if you’re nearby and like fine cheese.

Incredible cheese tasting class. They teach you about how cheeses are made and aged and you can eat as much as you'd like. We did a wine pairing but in the evening they may pair harder liquors. We loved every bite. Highly recommend

Did the cheese tasting with wine. Absolutely amazing cheeses and learned a lot about waiting then with wine! I told myself I wouldn't but cheese, but afterwards I couldn't not buy any to take home!

Did the cheese tasting last year. Was fun and informative. That drove my decision to almost always pick up a kilo of reypenaer/wyngard cheese wedges on every amsterdam layover. The sad thing is they dont actually last 60 days in packaging as they say. It doesnt go bad but the oils start separating and you lose the crystallization from aging as the cheese becomes more stiff and rubbery. Truly one of the best things you can take home from the netherlands, and a versatile gift

We had a great experience! We learnt a lot about Dutch cheese and how to combine with wine. The staff is super friendly and fun. Would definitely recommend this.

Had a great experience learning about 6 different types of cheese. They also do wine pairings for every cheese you taste and even provide some special condiments. Highly recommend for a relaxing way to spend an hour in the Jordaan district.

First of all the cheese is great. It was my 4th visit to Amsterdam and I always came on my last day to get the XO reserve. It is simply the best cheese I ever ate!

Second and best part, staff helped me contact NS train to recover my Rimowa luggage which I left behind!

Had a great cheese tasting here in December 2019. A variety of cheeses were provided as well as a number of wines and other liquours available for paring with the cheeses. Big highlight is actually learning what a "Gouda" cheese is. As a lifelong Canadian, I feel that I've been misled on what constitutes as a Gouda cheese all my life. Strongly recommend going for a cheese tasting. It was a great night out!

Great selection of cheese. Also I've been to their cheese tasting twice. You can try 6 different types with different wine. Excellent flavour and great explanation of cheese making. If you do your cheese tasting you get 15% off in the shop. Its worth it! !! If you want to go for quality cheese this is the place!
