Amazing place for your kids to visit, in case they are into dinosaurs! With real Dino skeletons and super large outdoor playground in the forest, Oertijdmuseum is a must go if you want to do something different! It’s like going to the prehistoric zoo and I’d definitely recommend! As a last point - if you have a yearly subscription for some of the zoo’s or other museums you can even get a nice discount on the tickets!

Nice place with friendly staff. The kids really enjoy the dinosaurs, especially the little forest walk and the skeletons 🦴 inside.

Almost all static models, so no fancy animatronics.

The "restaurant" is very limited, so don't expect a proper lunch.

The store sells all kinds of dinosaurs (and other prehistoric) artefacts and merchandise, including shark teeth and mosasaurus teeth.

A great experience for kids and grownups. A very informative museum and outside in the forest lots of life-size dinosaurs.

For the younger kids it's amazing to see the size of the dinosaurs. For the older kids there is plenty of information available to get informed about the story behind the dinosaurs.

There's a playground with a restaurant where parents can relax while the kids play.

Extraordinary museum for children.
The inside area is very small, but has astonishing skeletons from many fossils.
The outer area is much larger, and is flooded with 1:1 dinosaur models from different eras. Children have plenty of space to run and play, and also playground spaces with slides, swings, etc.

Kids love this place. As close to Jurassic Park As one can get until Jeff Bezos clones dinosaurs and sells them on Amazon to kids.

Very nice place for all who are interested in paleontology and especially dinosaurs. Entry is fair priced, terrain quite big and mostly in the forest so even when there is heavy sun and high temperature - there there is still cool.

Great place with lots of fossils and dinosaur replica's. You can learn all about the different dinosaurs and the different ages. There are activities for children of different ages as well as a play area and cafe.

A great place for kids to learn and play. We saw volunteers working on Dinosaur bones aging 140 million years and got to hold one of the bones. The dinosaur models are very realistic. Our kids enjoyed the play ground a lot

About Boxtel
Municipality in the Netherlands

Boxtel is a municipality and a town in the southern Netherlands. The name derives from Buchestelle and is presumably a combination of 'stelle' and buck. This is the origin of the Van Boxtel family, which has numerous descendants in North Brabant. The town was the site of the Battle of Boxtel fought in September 1794 during the Flanders campaign. It is often principally remembered as the first battle of the future Duke of Wellington. source
