Westenholte B&B

Westeholte is such a quiant little village to retire to after a busy day. On top of that the lovely host, Griecke, maintains a warm and friendly atmosphere in the B&B. I had such a great stay here during a business trip.
I never wanted for anytying, the facilities are so well maintained.
Will definitely be returning here when I visit the Netherlands next time and can 100% recommend it to anyone - from someone looking for a felxible overnight stay right through to an extended stay. They've got it all!

Everything is perfect. Grieke (the hostess) is always very very helpful and makes sure that you enjoy the most perfect stay possible. She speaks perfect English, so no one has to worry about communication. She always has an open ear and you can have a great conversation. She takes great care that no one is disturbed, even by other careless guests.
Her boyfriend and father are very pleasant and nice people who contribute to the pleasant atmosphere.

The bathroom and kitchen are always clean and great care is taken to ensure that everything is always kept to the same standard. The rooms are also regularly vacuumed, aired and the sheets changed.

The room was very comfortable with an electrically adjustable bed. The mattress is great. Everything tidy and clean, as you would expect. TV with Netflix account available.

We enjoyed our stay very much and leave with a sad eye.

Highly recommended for any guest who knows how to behave and looks out for their fellow man!

We have stayed here for a few seasons, and we return every season because the owner is something of an institution. We thought to write a few words about the occasions of our stays.

Location:
The Westenholte B&B is situated in a unique, charming location. It is roughly seven minutes' drive from the centre of Zwolle (one of the old Hanseatic trading cities with the accompanying history), and five minutes' drive from stunning and commanding views of the Ijssel river. It has something for everyone: quiet surroundings, a bustling city not too far away with a mix of modern and quaint streets and cozy shops, idyllic nature that is perfect for lazy summer afternoons or quiet, romantic winter walks. The location is perfect for both tourist and business visitors, with convention centres being not too far away. There are attractions within walking, bicycling and driving range.

The rooms:
The rooms, and indeed the whole place, are spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished and decorated; in some rooms there are ultra modern beds which can be raised or lowered by remote control. The toilet/bathroom is cleaned very regularly.

The grounds:
The gardens are beautiful, and serene. Some cars may be accommodated on the property, and ample free parking is available in the vicinity.

The host:
The host is hospitable, accommodating, and very reasonable. Aside from free advice as to things to do in the vicinity, it is possible to ask (for a reasonable fee, and/or if available) for:-
- pick ups from the local transport hubs;
- a day to be organised, and the host can show you around;
- various eco tours such as bird-watching. The host says shortly there might be tours of apiaries available.

The breakfast:
This has always been nice; there is a wide and varied variety, and we have never been disappointed.

On the one hand, we do not want to tell too many people about this hidden gem under in leafy quadrant of what is called the "Gold Coast of Zwolle," but on the other hand, we do feel that the host has more than earnt our loyalty and recommendation, which we now tender to the world.

We have truly, and very much enjoyed our stays here. We have had shared so many happy occasions with the host; together we have seen the marriage of our granddaughter, the birth of our first great-grandchild, the graduation of our two sons. God willing, we shall make many more happy memories here together.

We do hope that you will enjoy your stay here as much as we have!

Very good Bed & Breakfast, with very friendly owners. Beautifull house with spacious rooms. Big bathroom. The breakfast is splendid. I would visit this B&B again without any second thoughts. 👍

Heel fijn ontvangst door de eigenaresse, erg vriendelijk en heel betrokken. Hebben een fijn verblijf gehad, zeker een aanrader als je de kant van Zwolle op gaat!

Totul a fost perfect de la primire, camere condiții excelente! Gazdele au fost foarte ok, am beneficiat chiar și de transport de la cazare pana la locul unde trebuia sa ajungem.

我个人非常喜欢的一个民宿，老板娘很nice，给客人准备了很多小吃和生活用品，还帮我洗衣服，自己做饭也完全没有问题，老板是华人，所以做中餐的调料也很齐全。老板还把健身卡借给我用，每天可以去附近的连锁健身房撸铁。我很享受那种每天早餐的时候和来来往往的各国客人聊天的体验，如果你也喜欢这种热闹天下一家的感觉，这里真得非常合适。如果你喜欢安静得一个人关着门呆着，可能这里不适合你。

We waren hier afgelopen nacht, we werden in de middag zeer hartelijk ontvangen. En kwamen s avonds terug om te slapen, heerlijk stil en goede badkamer en slaapkamer!
S morgens lekker ontbijt in de tuin met voor ieder wat wils ( zeer uitgebreid).
Wij komen zeker hier terug, een aanrader.

Dicht bij het centrum van Zwolle. Mooie ruime kamers, hele aardige en vriendelijke host. Service was ook super. Ik raad deze B&B aan iederene aan.

Naprosto dokonale ubytování. Výborná cena a blízkost do centra je prostě bomba. Paní majitelka je úplně skvělá udělala by pro Vás asi cokoliv Vám vidí na očích. Na všem se dá domluvit viz check in v 9 ráno. Snídaně třeba v pět prostě vše naprosto super
