One of the most beautiful bookstore in The Netherlands. A monumental church building with a rich history now use as a bookstore in our present time. love the vibe and how everything come together with a cafe in the church too. Cafe food and service were good, food tasted fresh and service were really friendly as well.

Really cool location for a book store, looks amazing, big collection and also a nice restaurant adjacent in the church/building.

A must see if you are in Zwolle and have any affection with books.

This church-turned-bookstore is a glorious shrine to the written word. I particularly enjoyed the large number of poetry volumes. And the children’s book section in the back is impressive, too. The cafe offers great coffee and very decent food options. The second most beautiful bookstore in the Nerherlands, as far as I’m concerned. After Dominicanen in Maastricht.

Amazing book store near the city center of Zwolle, which is located inside a 15th century church. They have books in different categories (mostly in Dutch, but you find English also). There are also a wide variety of notebooks, stationery, novelty items, greeting and post cards etc which you can purchase. There’s a separate books and games section for kids of all ages too. Highly recommend visiting here. Inside there’s a cafe/restaurant also.

Huge and very well stocked library, with a larger variety than most and, of course, an impressive setting inside annold church. The children section was large and had lots of sections, including not just books but also puzzles, cards, etc.

Always a pleasure to enter into this amazing bookstore. You can find great titles and lovely editions. They have a big sci-fi/fantasy/horror section in English, so this is actually my third time in here. If you want the best books within the best atmosphere, this is the place you should visit as a book lover.

The church has been renovated into a bookstore. When you step inside, you'll see a large number of books and an atrium that stretches all the way to the ceiling, although I'm not sure if it's on the 3rd or 4th floor. I ended up staying at this bookstore for several hours. In the end, I leaned back on the chair on the first floor and fell into a deep sleep.

Great atmosphere, cozy combination of bookstore and coffee shop. You can enjoy your new book of magazine immediately whit cup of coffee and tart.The service is friendly. You can also find a nice, thoughtful gifts for everyone, if you are looking for.

Waanders In De Broeren is a 15th century church converted into a bookstore : one of its kind, with a wide range of Dutch and English books. Stunning assortment of collector's editions(Penguin clothbounds/Penguin Deluxe/Chiltern classics/Barnes and noble leather bounds/Thomas Nelson season editions and of course the newest to the popular books from all the genres, all under one roof was a first time experience to me.

The bookstore not only looks amazing, but has a wide selection of books in Dutch and English. I saw genres ranging from science, manga, horror, traveling, and children's books. It was built in a church and you can still see the organ, which gave the store an almost magical feel :) There's also a cafe inside, although I didn't have a drink there

Amazing book store and cafe. A wonderful place for bookworms to spend a few hours. Old, gorgeous church and organ.

Very old church (+500 yrs) in a very old town (-1000 yrs) that now houses an extensive bookstore and excellent cafe.

There is a little cafe on the top floor, and it was a perfect place to get some work done! It was a Tuesday morning, and not so busy. Tables got plenty of space, there are a few outlets, free wifi and also soy milk for my cappuccino!

Lots of sun light coming in, very quiet and the stuff was super nice and kind.
