Graaf Floris V van Muiden

After touring Muiderslot Castle, we stopped in for a bite to eat and to have some drinks. The restaurant has a good number of drink choices, a bunch of beers on tap, and a pretty full menu. We were seated right away (opting to sit inside since it was pretty hot the day we were here), and attended to quickly. The staff was attentive throughout our lunch, and were both friendly and knowledgeable. Our meals were all very good too. It's a bit on the pricey side, but overall, we were very happy with our experience.

Beautiful restaurant with history. Carpaccio and Dover Sole were delicious. We started with some drinks and appetizers outside and moved inside for the main course. You won’t find many tourists here, mostly locals enjoying their dinner.

Great cafe in Muiden, full of rich history and delicious food. Staff were friendly and service was quick.

i’m not even done eating but i wanted to leave this here: this place is amazing! the cozy atmosphere, amazing location on the river, food that is served with love and passion. don’t go anywhere else when you’re visiting the beautiful city of muiden.

A very cozy place on a charming historical street, amazing ambiance, lovely staff. We were here just for an apple tart and drinks and it was amazing.

Wee walk from the castle to have a sit down, a drink and dessert. Eclair and brownie were the perfect sugar fix we needed. Great location. Handsome and friendly staff! Great place to watch the boats by the swing bridge.

Very nice atmosphere, the combo model ships + knights' armor made my three kids very happy. Very friendly staff. The food was good and good value for money. I recommend!

One of our favourite restaurants of our trip! The prices are very friendly, especially if you are coming from touristy Amsterdam. We recommend the smoked salmon salad - it tasted delicious and they were very generous with the salmon slices! A convenient location and beautiful view.

When you will visit this restaurant, order mushrooms with cheese. It's really delicious. Also, I like staff attitude and helpfulness :)

Really delicious food! We had onion soup, carpaccio, fresh salad, and the steak with red wine sauce, onions and mushrooms, + fries and coleslaw. Everything was well prepared, very good blend of flavors and ingredients in the soup, carpaccio, and salad.

We were here on a Monday so it was pretty calm, but the waitstaff was very attentive, pleasant, and kind.

We also enjoyed watching some large ships go through the locks next to our table on the canal.

Would highly recommend!

Stopped and had lunch on the way back from Muiderslot. The food and service was great.

A popular traditional bar, serving a wide range of food. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Muiden is a lovely place and this is a lovely stop. Service is good and we always get toasties for lunch.

We had a really nice lunch after visiting the castle (5 minutes walking). We had a Muiderbal with fries and a sandwich with chicken. It was really tasty with a low price. I would definitely recommend it!

Friendly staff and a varied and tasty menu, delicious Dutch pancakes for the kids... all in a medieval setting to go with a visit to Muiderslot Castle at the end of the road. Check out their life size knight harness!

A cosy pub and restaurant in the town centre overlooking the canal. Good food and friendly staff.
