My absolute favorite place for breakfast. Very friendly, good vibes and great food and coffee. Absolutely recommend! I had the yoghurt with granola which was good, but the french toast (wentelteefjes) was amazing!

One of my favourite spots for brunch in Zwolle. The staff is great, service quality too. Wait time for food and drinks is fairly reasonable. Given that the space is not too big, you might have to wait a little before being seated especially during peak hours. good is really good, the club sandwich is my favourite in terms of toast or quantity, i’ve never been able to finish one. Price point is decent too. there’s indoor and outdoor seating and an overall warm and welcoming environment.

Look at the owner! What a happy chap. And we are happy too. Beautiful place and location. The coffee was excellent, the food was more than good. This a-typical medieval venue is a gem in Zwolle. Love this place!

Excellent coffee, and as the locals also regularly mention, the table service is also first class. There are various organic and freshly made items on the menu, covering breakfast to lunch / late lunch. There is plenty of room inside for small groups, and a few tables outside for the sunshine.
They also sell various gifts and curiosities such as the flying ship kites, and real wine gums! A good place to start your day in Zwolle.

Excellent! Each of the servers was extremely friendly and kind, the food was delicious, and the location on the main plaza is perfect for people-watching and enjoying the weather. Will be back!
