Van der Valk Hotel Almere

Very nice hotel. Free parking, which seems to becoming a thing of the past. Vast choice for breakfast, and dinner menu was pretty good.
Recommend weekend package: 2 night, 2 breakfast and 1 dinner included.

Great room. Very good service and very friendly.
There is a swimmingpool, sauna and a fitness room with you can use during you're stay at the hotel. 30 minutes walk to the center of Almere.
Was here for a work trip.

I don't have too much to say about the roons, as I'm not a demanding person. Thebsake goes for the location - close to A6, in a beautiful building is enough for the me to rate it 5.

What HAS the importance to me is the service, and 5 is not enough here.

Kind, helpful and warm staff took my heart. You will feel not. Only served there, but also welcomed as a person.

For me, Dutch Hotels are generally underwhelming. Not so with this wonderful hotel.
So comfortable, spacious, and scrupulously clean. Great staff, who are attentive, and willing to help with any issues.

The restaurant is without doubt, the jewel in this hotels crown. 5 star dishes at realistic prices.

I travel extensively for work and stayed in many hotels, but this one takes the cake.
Room was gorgeous and so so spacious. Outdoor terraxe was fantastic.
This hotel also has proper high end quality restaurant. Food was second to none! I mean it, i am usually underwhelmed by hotel restaurants, but their restaurant would top most of the restaurants in Amsterdam.
Luckily, i know i will be returning every time i am in Almere!

Excellent place to stay when visiting this area. Staff and facility meet high standards and you really don't have to leave this location for several days unless desired. Food and beverage, meals, entertainment and a bar located within the facility make for many in-house options. The restaurant has many delightful choices with light snacks available for early afternoon and in between meals. I plane to keep this location favorited for future visits.

Great food, good health facilities, clean and quiet. They have a friendly staff that speaks English beautifully. We will stay there again if we are in the region. Lots of space for parking.

Only downside is that they are a ten minute taxi ride from the train.

Been to this hotel on business 3 times now. Also extremely friendly staff. Room was always clean. Food from the hotel restaurant was good.

Interesting we were trying to explain the style of the rooms, mid 90s purple curtains grey textured wall paper. Fantastic size though but a bit bleak. Bed two singles pushed together with two single duvets one with hole in duvet cover. Coffee machine water container cannot be emptied and had funky water in it. Kettle can be used with complimentary tbags, this hotels entrance is lovely. The rooms are passable but a tad jaded. Hotel is situated a good 40 mins outside of Amsterdam. Will cost you 65 euros approx to get in via uber or get uber to local town where there is a train station. Food was good their beefburgers tasted lovely. Atmosphere is business not so much families.

Beautiful, new hotel. Room was very spacious and clean and the bathroom had a great tub. We ate dinner at the restaurant and it was fantastic. Friendly staff, ample parking, driving distance to the Oostvaardersplassen. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Best Van der Valk I have been to. Everything is tastefully decorated and very clean (I always notice the smallest bits of dust, spiderwebs etc). Staff is friendly and helpful and all seem to really enjoy working there. Rooms are nice, you can make coffee and tea in the room, spare duvets in the closet, very comfortable beds, clean, roomy showers with normal and rainshower and also a tub. And there's a pool indoors. Had several dinners and breakfasts, great quality, served quite quickly, good menu, awesome breakfast buffet. Stayed there a few times now, would absolutely recommend!
