Amazing park with beautifull birds. Highly recommended you go to the live show if its on. Great for all ages. Theres a massive range of beautiful birds and some monkies and other animals.

Super nice place for families with kids - we spent the whole day there! It’s not a very big bird park but everything is close, it’s really peaceful, not too many visitors, at least during the week. Perfect for a leisure day with the kids.

The species variety is not that big but you can see exotic birds and animals very close to you, unlike the big zoos. The pelican and penguin feedings are quite funny.

There is a wonderful kid playground with tons of fun things to do - huge trampolines, water cars, regular cars, different slides, including a really big tower one. Rest areas with benches or places for picnic all around. Great coffee place right in the middle, two food options - nothing spectacular but fine for a quick snack.

Definitely a good choice to spend a day with the kid/s.

Such a lovely place, we made it for the bird show which was exciting (would be great if this was in English), but the best part was getting to feed Loris ourselves! It also has a playground, very child friendly.

Such a pleasant experience. You’d probably spend about 3 hours to see everything. The main sights are the many different bird species but there are few animals like lemurs, lamas and few more. The highlights are the birds show which was at 1:30pm next to the havas building close to entrance and the parrots feeding where they stand on your arms to drink from a nectar that you buy (€1.5 for a small cup which is ridiculously expensive but you are paying for the experience at the end). Large green areas and many places to set. There is also a huge playground with many games for all kids ages. Quite tranquil place to spend some nice time. Few eating places and plenty of parking space for cars, bikes and scooters. If the weather is nice, it’s defiantly worth it.

Nice park with birds and some other animals. You can get really close to some of the animals as you can see in the pictures. They are not scared of humans.

We spend about 2 hours in the park and then went for the buffet dinner. The food was quite good.

I do suggest you use some discount as the normal price of 44 euro per person is steep.

It’s a nice place to visit if you have some extra time on your Amsterdam trip. Entrance fee is a little steep for what you get. But other than that nothing to complain. Lots of birds and other animals , some of which I haven’t seen anywhere else. There’s a big play area dedicated for the kids , which I found really good.
Feeding the Loris was something we enjoyed a lot ( apart from the price to pay again for the feed ).
If you buy your tickets online , you get a 1€ discount for the entrance fee.

Best park to visit with toddlers. The birds are all in such beautiful state and well cared for. There is a playground area for the little ones as well as snack bars to buy food from. They have monkeys and lemurs as well. It is a must visit.

A good place to spend quality time with your family and friends. There are several shows at the park which I would say are average.

The Lori landing enclosure gets full points as that's something that you will always remember. Food inside the place is costlier, I guess that's as expected.

For a group with kids you can expect to spend 4 to 5 hours in the park.

A friendly place for families and couples for a walk. Lots of different species of birds, and more. Feeding demonstrations are organized at fixed times. We happened to be feeding lemurs, pelicans and parrots. Breathtaking. I recommend buying tickets online in advance, although there is no problem with buying at the checkout. Lots of parking space. I recommend going in the morning. It's not that crowded then.

A bit smelly in places, but an awesome park, great fun for the kids, great playground too, and the cafe is reasonably priced!

Such an amazing experience visiting this bird sanctuary. They have a really broad collection of birds you can see and you can even feed the Loriini birds. The rest of the park is quite entertaining and the birds are well looked after.

We loved everything here, so many different types of birds, some in very big cages, some free walking with us. The restaurant in the middle was also good, nice food, nice and friendly staff. As we had a room in the hotel by the park we could still walk round after closing time which was great. We recommend a stay here, we came with our 9 year old twins and all 4 of us have a great 3 days👍👍

We use Avifauna as a hotel for work in the Netherlands. We slept comfortably in the larger of the rooms. We had a wander around the Vogel (bird) sanctuary which was delightful. Wish we spent more time here. Staff are very friendly and have assisted in transport arrangements.

We easily spent 4 hours at the park and it was a beautiful time! It was so neat being so close to monkeys and birds. They’ve made some very nice & natural new enclosures for some of the birds and monkeys. 👌🏽 The lady looking after the lemurs was very friendly. We had so much fun feeding the birds a special nectar they gave us. 🐦👍🏻

Beautiful place full of all kinds of birds. The afternoon bird show is a must, and also the Lori landing a must do!

Other fauna (e.g. the lemurs) very cute!

Great to spend time with kids! Bird feeding is a lot of fun. This place is well kept and animals are healthy. Kids playground has a lot for big/small kids - some unique ones I have seen are the huge slides as well as excavators ;)

Lovely zoo. Not a really big zoo but perfect for about 2 to 3 hours. Most activities are in the afternoon.

A beautiful birds park with plenty of different of bird species. There are birds with different sizes and colors. The major highlight is where you can feed the birds with some nectar. You have to pay 1.50 per a cup in there. There was a demonstration as well where birds are doing some kind of stunts. The Madagascar animal section is also something unique where animals freely roam around you. Park is big, expect to spend at least 4 5 hours inside.

An amazing experience, as a bird lover it was fantastic. They had so many birds and some great areas to walk through such as the tropical bird houses. I was super surprised that they even had both a male and female Himalayan monal pheasant which is a bird I had as a pet when I was a child, this was the icing on the cake for me. The bird show for me was not worth it but everything else was fantastic, wasn't even that busy considering I went on a weekend in early September.

Nice and quiet place to admire the birds, feeding the loris is a very nice experience and the show with the birds is really amazing. I recommend this place for children and adults who enjoy the nature.
