Landgoed Westerlee

The personell was very kind and very forthcoming. We had some unusual requests and they fulfilled them without hesitation. We even got a small tour and history lesson of the hotel from the night guard, that was pretty awesome.
The rooms need some maintenance, nothing too much but there are details that need finishing touch.

Very comfortable bed, jacuzzi and a balcony is a big plus. Looking forward to coming back here.

Such a lovely place! At evening live classic music, friendly staff- the exception was one short woman who was very unpleasant ( not nice ) and therefore did not fit in with the rest of the staff and the place so charming. Really good coffee and OK breakfast- honey was delicious! Definitely ill back in summer time-I hope the bonfires are organized.

Very beautiful hotel. Large, pretty double rooms, friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast tastes good and has a great variety. I cannot say anything about the dinner because we did not have it. Our room had a jacuzzi that worked very well - only complaint would be the noise it creates. I cannot compare it to any other jacuzzis, though.

My parent live close by and we wanted needed a place to stay. I grew up in this part of the Netherlands and appreciate the authenticity - the hotel is a farmhouse and barn that has been turned into a beautiful hotel.
The receptionist was very welcoming. Ample parking on the property. Beautiful and spacious room with a build out that was used for my daughter extra bed, and had its own curtains, almost a small separate side room. The room has radiant floor heating and an air conditioner unit that also serves as additional heating in the wintertime. Comfortable king size bed, plenty of nice towels. Large - two person - soaking tub/ Jacuzzi.
Breakfast was served in room because of local COVID measures, but the restaurant downstairs - in the renovated/ remodeled barn, was lovely, with Christmas tree/ decorations and a cozy atmosphere. The original house – front of the property is turned into a high-end restaurant, unfortunately closed because of COVID measures, we peaked in and it looked wonderful as well as the menu options.
Breakfast, included in the room rate, has many options, including local specialty breads and pastries.
WIFI worked well, fairly fast – Noticeable as many hotels it’s just mediocre speed. The room has a modest size LCD tv mounted across from the bed. There is a spa we did not use – no time unfortunately.
Overall, a wonderful surprise is a less touristy part of the country. The owner told me they would close for the 1Q22 because of local COVID situation. After that, on my next trip to the Netherlands – I will be back for sure.

A beautiful Hotel charming as a landgood from the past centuries while being equipped with modern facilities as a generous Sauna and Pool Area. We were very pleased of the friendly staff and the Lady of the house, who is fond of dogs and was very kind to our two. The breakfast was very good. We recommend this place without reservation.

Beautiful hotel and gorgeous landscape. Very peaceful and relaxing. We had high tea and it was very delicious! I recommend this hotel for a quick getaway or even just to enjoy some nice food and atmosphere.

Very relaxing environment. Old farm building is totally renovated to accomodate hotel guests with luxury 2 person Hot tubs and beds. High ceilings every where give a feeling of space and calm.

Lovely and cute countryside hotel, very cozy. The Spa pool inside the room was large and reasonably priced for one night. A bit old but still lovely

Beautiful spot

Sfeervol hotel. Voldoende parkeerplekken nabij het landgoed. Wel onverhard en daardoor modderig. Vriendelijk personeel bij de receptiebalie (die een poetsbeurt verdient want de raggen zijn zichtbaar). Zeer ruime, chique hotelkamer met badkamer met tweepersoons whirlpool. (Het is een beetje cheap dat je de bruisbal voor het baf apart moet kopen bij de receptie.) Er is een ruime loggia (balkon) bij de kamer. De kamer is schoon en voorzien van een koelkast. Een koffie- en thee hoekje ontbreekt helaas.
We hebben genoten van een heerlijk driegangen diner in het karakteristieke restaurant en van het prima (standaard) ontbijt. Al met al een heerlijke ervaring gehad!

We kwamen in het donker aan, de oprit was daardoor wat lastiger te vinden.
Met parkeren was het erg druk omdat er een bruiloft gaande was. (Hier hebben wij netjes een paar weken vantevoren bericht van gehad).
Hier geen last van gehad, je hoorde de muziek wel goed, maar was voor ons niet vervelend.
Waar we wel last van hadden, was van onze buren die het heel gezellig hadden samen. Ze waren luidkeels te horen. (Dit hebben wij ook gemeld en de avond erna hebben wij niks meer gehoord).

Kamer was fantastisch, een barok stijl, de bedden lagen heerlijk, lekker groot bad.

We hebben een avond gegeten bij het hotel, 3-gangen diner, er werd hier heel erg goed rekening gehouden met de gluten-/lactose allergie. Voordat het eten kwam vroegen ze wie de allergie had en gaven ze advies welk gerecht je het beste kon pakken en wat er evt. Aangepast kon worden aan een gerecht.

We waren wel een beetje verdwaald met het ontbijt. We wisten niet waar we het ontbijt konden vinden (helemaal achterin de zaal). Dit is misschien wat beter te verduidelijken vanuit het hotel.

Al met al dus een fantastische ervaring!!

Voor de zoveelste keer genoten van ons verblijf! Heerlijk king size bed, groot bubbel bad. Jammer van het slechte weer, in de omgeving is het mooi wandelen! Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Uitstekend ontbijt!

Prachtig rustig gelegen hotel. Het bubbelbad voor 2 personen en het zalige bed laten je ontspannen. Het restaurant biedt heerlijke gerechten en het wijnaanbod is heerlijk.

Mooie omgeving, vriendelijk personeel, grote kamer. Het ontbijt is goed, vers brood. Ik had mijn hondjes mee, erg fijn dat dat kan.

Idyllisch, ruhig und sehr tolles Ambiente. Waren auf Durchreise und waren glücklich diesen Ort gewählt zu haben . Alle Zimmer mit Whirlpool ausgestattet . Alles sehr liebevoll und mit Stil eingerichtet. Sehr stimmig ♥ tolle Hausbar . Auch die Küche hat uns mit Köstlichkeiten verwöhnt. War nicht das letzte mal .
