We had a lovely lunch here with champagne since we had something important to celebrate.
One of few restaurants in our Bommelerwaard region which are open on Tuesday’s from 11u in the morning.

Lunch meals were delicious and very tasteful.
Easy to park close by

We attended a company party. The buffet was very good quality. Bettet than expected.
I liked the waiters, enough to drink without pushing it.

Gezellig modern café dat uitkijkt over de Waal, wij hebben er een biertje gedronken en die waren koud en de service warm.

De 19e eeuwse Heerensociëteit De Verdraagzaamheid in Jip&Janneke stad Zaltbommel werd - mede door RTL4 en Herman den Blijker - weer op het goede spoor gezet. Het is dan ook anno nu een hippe tent, smaakvol ingericht en een fraai uitzicht biedend over de Waal.
De twee jongens-standbeelden voor de deur zijn het bekijken waard. Het personeel is uitermate vriendelijk en meedenkend. Maar belangijker is wat je op je bord krijgt. Ook dat was perfect.
Ik koos voor de lunch voor het 12-uurtje. Die bestond uit een mooi kopje pompoensoep, kroket met brood en een goed gevuld carpacciobroodje. Goede waar voor een nette prijs. En, met een smakelijke Carolus Tripel erbij... die zie je ook niet overal.
