A wonderful experience! Grand cafe Bourgogne has it all, an artfull entrance that passed a wow. An extremely friendly staff that made us feel fully at ease and mampered. When I fell ill they were very kind and helpfull, a very warm feeling. Plus… the dishes were refined and served with professionalism. We highly recommend. Thank you!

Nice location, next to the national park and the seaside. Very good food and service in the restaurant Merlet. Hotel rooms are big and comfortable, just a bit old.

Arranged a 60th getaway for a friend. From the moment I first booked it and asked to arrange flowers for the room to the final check out, the professionalism, friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff was first class, The food and wine was excellent. Real top quality dining experience. Loved the decor of the dining room, very eye catching. Beautiful location, can't rate this place highly enough.

I think the best restaurants I have eaten at in the Netherlands. The service is impeccable, we took the biggest menu and the wine pairing... what an incredible experience. From the subtilty of tastes to the wines and the knowledge about the wines. Serving edible gold leaf usually is OTT for me, but they do turn a dinner into gold at Merlet.

We were quite impressed with the quality of cooking at this 1 Michelin Star. Very very good and solid throughout. We went for lunch in January and was quiet and calm and the service was great. The decor I’m not a fan of... a bit tacky-modern dutch, however the space feels good overall as the terrace and views to the garden are beautiful and relaxing. Definitely worth a visit.

Dinner was still 5 stars. The new chef is a keeper. Great wines, food and service.

Nice decor and atmosphere. The staff was smiley and helpful. They waitress knew how to serve wine properly. We only went for a drink but apparently there is a Michelin star restaurant on the other side that is yet to be experienced.

Both the hotel and the restaurant are exceptional and deserve their own 5 stars. The view of the rooms and the restaurant are so peaceful, one can forget anything else... The food is as expected very delicious, service was exceptional! The rooms seemed to have their own styling, we had a yellow ish interior which was very nice.

What can I say, this hotel and restaurant deserves more than 5 stars. Food in the michelin star was delicious. The breakfast superb and the who style and ambiance is great, everything is in the little details very well decorated. A big staff is present fulfilling every need and on top of that super friendly. A big fance wine list and if you don't want to eat in the Michelin star restaurant you can have very good food in the gran caffe. Enough parking space and close near all the nice things in Schoorl. We will definitely return. Hotel rooms are also very nice and very modern but cozy, tip not all the hotel rooms have an A/C.

Love this restaurant! Dishes are delicious and beautifully presented. The terrace is also lovely on a summer day ✨ and the wine choices are amazing!

The food was absolutely delicious. The dishes looked like works of art; especially the amazing "walk in the woods" desert. Thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience and relaxed atmosphere.

Excellent service at an international level, which is rare in the netherlands. Quality facilities and decor, good food at the bistro (didn't try the Michelin restaurant).
