Fantastic B&B in a well-appointed suburb of Amsterdam. The family that runs the hotel is beyond kind and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stopover near Amsterdam.

Thank you for wonderful staying from last night to this morning!

First, I moved by written my name on the board of door! I was surprisingly impressed with this hospitality to the guests!

Also, though I arrived here with my body exhausted, the owner welcomed me with full of smiles! So I recover from my fatigue completely!

The room was like attic-style one and
the atmosphere was superb, I can also chill out in the quiet room.

So I decided to add the option of breakfast, I would like to recommend you to drink the orange juice with flesh of fruit! Also, a croissant was extremely tasty! It is worth paying €18!!

I heartly recommend you to spend your night and morning here! I stayed other four kinds of ones before, and all of things which I take was the best compared to others! Thank you so much and I will stay here if I go to Amsterdam again!!

Thanks for making our stay with you so memorable and relaxing.
Thanks for all the delicious breakfasts (your croissants are exquisite) and a special thanks for the homemade lemonade, which is just perfect for a sunny day on your beautiful patio.

Spent 5 nights in this charming b&b. Hosts are wonderful people who go out of their way to help and make your stay memorable. If you want a place close to Amsterdam yet without the hustle and bustle, this is it - it’s a converted old station and has style and charm. A few good eateries around old town Amstelveen, and good old countryside vibes. Hosts serve homemade breakfast but with jet lag we slept through every one unfortunately. We did get to try leftovers and the food is top notch. There is a nespresso machine in the room , tea , kettle and a full minibar. The Amsterdamse Bos ( biggest park in Amsterdam ) is just outside the hotel, a working goat farm with divine goat ice cream is a 30 min walk thru the park with pastries, coffee and a relaxing park terrace. A few tips - do ask which floor your room is on. The hotel is 3 stories, and it’s Dutch traditional neck breaking stairs. No elevator. You do not want to try those with luggage. Our host , God bless him, helped us with suitcases, but I’d recommend the lowest available floor. Parking - There are a few parking spaces around, but old town has restricted access. The hotel sends entry codes by email , make sure you have those. Transport - Budget 30-40 min to central Amsterdam by public transport, numerous options available - bus and tram to the center. Do get a multi day card, as ticket machines are sometimes hidden in unpredictable places. We got ours at Zuid station. Have fun!!! We enjoyed every minute. Will stay again and have already recommended to a few friends.

We've had a great weekend with two nights in this great and beautiful hotel.
The owners are very nice and friendly.
Breakfast was great, everything was fresh and tasted very good. And you can ask for more bread, drinks or whatever whenever you want.
The room was very stylish in a traditional way. You can imagine the mixture of scandinavian influence and dutch tradition. Only the windows are a bit too oldstylish, they aren't isolated and you can see that it doesn't close perfectly.
The house itself is an old railway-station, you can still see the people waiting in the main-hall, which is the breakfast-room right now. And it is like a garden or a gardening - very nice and charmful.
Oh, beware of the stairway: it is quite steep! ;-)
If we come back to Amsterdam next time, we will look for an available room at this hotel!

This is a gem of a place! Amazing location with a beautiful Dutch heritage building with the cutest rooms, the cafe is vegan friendly and hanna sure knows how to dish up some delicious meals and make you feel welcomed and at ease!! Im happy to discover this and it's going to be my regular escapade from Amsterdam.

Came across this beautiful brunch Cafe. Convenient location. Food with a view. Sitting arrangement available inside and outside. Variety of vegetarian and non vegetarian options available in the menu. Need to scan QR code for menu, and place the order online itself. Little expensive (for example, all drinks start from minimum 4.5€ and snack from 9.95€) but quality and quantity of food is great. Water with lemon and orange slices available which was great.
Staff was friendly and nice but due to crowd and fresh preparations service was little slow. Would Like to visit again to try out new variety of options.

Lovely place with amazing hosts! Highly recommended for a tasty vegan lunch. The hotel rooms are cozy and beautiful, you’ll get a great nights sleep. I would recommend the Swedish bulle, power balls, and Schmeergasbord. The cocktails on a Friday are a highlight too.

Amazing place to go for a great lunch or drink. Their Shmeergåsboard is my favourite snack to accompany a good glass of wine. Or go for one of their great soups for lunch. All of the food is by original recipe, vegan and super healthy.

Really lovely little B&B the owners were friendly. We had a nice stay here. Really well decorated and clean. Our room had a bathtub which was a plus! The old house has lots of character and charm.

A great cozy and welcoming hotel next to the beautiful and serene Amsterdam forest. The hosts were kind, helpful and genuinely pleasant. The room was spacious with everything one needs for a good rest, the bed was incredibly comfy and the shower was sparkling clean. The food is simply fantastic and the atmosphere was great.
Most definitely recommended.

We stayed at Station Amstelveen B&B for three nights with our two children (ages 9 and 5), and had a most fantastic time. The entire place is very charming and impeccably clean and stylish. We stayed in the Conductor suite, which has two rooms, one with a sofa that had been made into a bed for our girls. The room was beautiful, airy and spotless, with nice amenities like a mini bar, Nespresso maker and tea kettle. The bathroom had a really great shower. We were welcomed at brunch in an attractive dining room by one of the owners, who was very accommodating and made us fresh hot food and coffee in addition to offering a lovely cold spread. There are many delicious restaurants within a 5-minute walk from the B&B; we tried three of them and they were all delicious. A bonus for my girls was getting to meet the owners' dogs, who are very gentle and sweet. The B&B correctly advertises on their website that there is no lift, and the stairs are a bit steep, so do consider that if you have limited mobility. If you can use stairs, though, don't miss this B&B (in any case, there are many handrails placed along the stairway to help). Very good experience!

The three of us really enjoyed our stay at the Station Amstelveen. The B&B was quaint and comfortable plus Johan was very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious. There are many restaurants just a short walk from the Station where we enjoyed wonderful meals and drinks. There are plans to open a vegan restaurant in the B&B soon.

The village is quiet which helped make our stay especially relaxing before our long flight home. It's not near the center of Amsterdam, which I think is a plus, but the city was easily accessible by bicycle, bus, or taxi/uber. Plus a large nature park is just 5 minutes' walk away where we were able to spend time exploring.

Johan and Katarina made our stay especially enjoyable.

If you want to visit Amsterdam, i absolutly recommend to stay here and drive via train or car into the City.

The owners are sweet, kind and quick to help you with anything. And they have two lovely (quiet) dogs which made our morning so much better.

We had room 6, a room with a queen size bed. A bit weird for me that you only get 1 blanket for 2 people but it was really huge so that was no problem at all. The bathroom was stunning. Modern and at the same time appropriate for the environment. The towles where soft and clean. The shower is really cool. The bath has floor heating.

The breakfast got everything you need at the morning (including 2 cuddly dogs ;) which got send away while breakfast to not bother with eating i guess). It was a perfect start into the day and the coffee was really good.

To conclude: kind owners, lovely ambience, comfy bed and stunning bathroom. 5/5

Not stayed overnight. However they are also a very popular lunchroom. Love the Swedish waffles or small pancakes. And great atmosphere in an old station building.

Amstelveen's best kept secret!! I haven't stayed over but if the menu is anything to go by, you will have a fantastic stay!! I often take friends or visitors there for a coffee or breakfast...everything is freshly made and delicious. The Mimosa is definitely worth a try!!
