Restaurant De Beren Gouda

A very nice restaurant, great staff… never have I ever seen such attentive and nice service in the Netherlands. We were in a rush and went there on a Saturday, they were quite jammed but got us a table and did not take long to get our orders. The food and atmosphere was very nice as well. Much recommended.

Excellent food, attentive staff, cool environment the perfect place for a lunch or dinner if you are passing by or visiting Gouda. There is also a great free parking lot in front of the restaurant shared between the restaurants around.

We've had a delicious dinner. The meat was very juicy and tender and the quality was beyond our expectations. Our favorite is the rib fingers. We will surely come back for those.

It’s a chain restaurant - a rare thing for The Netherlands. The interior is just wow, be prepared, you will see a lot of bears everywhere :D Friendly staff, rich menu. You will see KFC from the window, no need to worry - they also have fried chicken :) We ordered some tapas and was delicious. Cozy and warm atmosphere

Fantastic staff. Great food. Me and my wife was here on 1 January 2023. The manager was very friendly and spoke English and German that was a great help and we were able to see the menu in English. The food was very good. This place is a must if you are close by. Great food great staff. What more can you ask for?

This restaurant is part of the (in this part of the Netherlands) familiar Beren franchise. Family-friendly restaurants with a limited menu but using fresh products for a good price. Same here in Gouda. Very friendly and thoughtful service and very good food. Unpretentious and a very cozy atmosphere. Good choice with kids, and enough vegetarian options too.

The food is great, the menu is varied (seasonal rub for the spareribs, regular change in the beer menu etc.) They have all you can eat spareribs or sate days (Monday's and Thursdays are spareribs all you can eat). The decor is nice the staff is friendly and there is free parking. Not much else you can wish for 10 out of 10

The restaurant was nice decorated. I love the spare ribs here. This is the very soft and tender spare ribs that I ever taste. You can choose the sauce that you like. The staff is friendly also. Recomended for you.

Amazing restaurant. Friendly and very helpful staff. Good choice of food in the menu - spicy chicken was delicious. They also had a menu in english, which was very useful. Also its within easy walking distance of the campanile hotel.

Nice place, nice food. A lot of added think from them like bread and sauces before the main course. Interesting handkerchiefs with water solution to clean hands before and after meal. Mints. The waitresses were very kind.

I currently visit De Beren Gouda every week on my commute to Rotterdam. The food is tasty and the staff are always very welcoming and friendly.

Service minded personnel and the service was great. The food was good and it went fast for the food to be delivered at the table.
