Van der Valk Hotel Emmen

We stopped at Hotel Emmen twice to charge our electric car. They've got 6 Tesla Superchargers and multiple slow chargers, depending on how long you want to stay there. Both times we used the fast chargers and went to the restaurant to drink coffee / tea. They offered great soup and the service was very friendly and fast enough so we could get back to the car when the charging was complete.

Everything was great, except the room was too hot and A/C was not sufficient. Breakfast was excellent, soo delicious and varied. Dinner also. Very satisfying. Staff was also very polite. Thanks!

Beautiful nice hotel!
I particularly went to the brunch buffet of Sundays and it was simply awesome.
We made a reservation ahead because it gets quite crowded.
The selection of food and drinks is splendid, everything I tried out was exquisite.
The attention from all the crew is top.
It has proper entrances and facilities for wheelchairs.
In conclusion, I had a great experience and look forward to come back!

Breakfast and a la cart dinner were good. And all the personnel is friendly and gave lots of attention to our daughter. She even got a present after dinner for her drawing skills 👍🏻

Very nice hotel with extremely friendly staff. The room was very spacious and featured a very modern bathroom with seperate shower and whirlpool bathtub. The AC in the room did a great job of keeping us cool during the night. Thanks to Nespresso machine we were up and running in no time in the morning. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel. Location is outside the city. Don't be fooled into thinking this Hotel is in Emmen. It's in the middle of nowhere, and taxis in the area are near to impossible to book. 3-4 km from train stations.

Very nice hotel in a nice, peaceful surrounding. We both liked it so much, even though this visit was work related, that we are planning to get a suite next visit for a private visit next time. Enough to to in the neighbourhood but also nice to relax and get away from all hectics in the Randstad.

A great hotel which is well sited. Lovely large rooms with very comfortable beds and super bathrooms. Food at dinner and breakfast good with wide choice. For the price paid excellent value. Staff helpful and friendly.

Nice hotel, with spacious but cozy rooms. There is quite good fitness area and small swimming pool. Breakfsst had a lot of choices. There is also a restaursnt that serves tasty food. I recommend you to stay there!

It's a four star hotel. rooms are very nice and dinner was awesome.so Is breakfast. the pool is refreshing and clean.and the service is outstanding. the location is very nice and easy to reach. I highly recommend this hotel.

I ordered the cod and it was a beautiful and delicious piece of fish. They also served the best banana ice cream I've ever had.

Wow. Loved it. Breakfast buffet was amazing and dinner was fantastic. Room was very nice and bathroom had a jacuzzi. Would stay again.

The rooms are great.. The prices are affordable.. There is enough to do in the surroundings and some great views.. In short, I would definitely recommend this hotel..

Visited the restaurant close to Christmas. Was amazed to see it decorated! The lobby was looking good with the Christmas trees and decorations! Food was super!

The restaurant has good meals and friendly staff. The whole place looks great and quite luxurious.

Clean, big comfy rooms, trained staff, great food and beautiful view more than you need at least on business trip.
