WestCord Hotel Noordsee

Very nice hotel between the village Nes and the Beach. Both are within walking distance. Very nice servants and great food in the Restaurant. We had once the 3 course surprise menu and once the 4 course surprise menu, and we were really positively surprised!

Lovely hotel with very helpful staff. Room was a good size with a balcony and the bathroom was modern & clean with plenty of towels & toiletries. No air conditioning in the room but there was a decent fan - each room has its own balcony with a couple of chairs and a table. The quality of the food in the restaurant was good. Breakfast had lots of choice and the food was tasty.
The hotel is a 10 mins walk to the beach & 10 mins walk into town so it’s a great location. There’s a pool, sauna & bike hire at the hotel.
I’d happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it to family & friends.

Had a good time here. The service was amazing and always very helpful. I really liked the room and enjoyed every minute. My favorite was the privat sauna. It cost 7 to 15 Euro per hour but you got it all for yourself. The connected restaurant Mr sandman is very good as well. The breakfast was nothing special but still a good start for the day.

Great hotel with awesome service. A beautiful peaceful place away from the fast-paced life in the city.

Due to a special case I didn't had to pay for the room so I can't say too much about that. But the breakfast was exquisite.
Really loved the food. Would spend a night here again only for the to be able to enjoy that breakfast again

We booked the studio for 4, it was perfect! Studio is really confortable and convenient. A lot of services (bicycles, swimming pool, very good restaurant). The service was perfect, helpful.

This is a nice hotel in a lovely location. The studio room was great for three of us and the service was helpful and friendly.

We stayed there for a week. We had a very pleasant stay, I would definitely stay here again in future. Here are the things I would like to highlight:

* The staff is very polite and helpful.

* The breakfast was quite nice and had a lot of options, for vegetarians and meat eaters.

* The hotel premises and room were very clean. They cleaned the room daily.

* The location is very good, some nice restaurants and beach are nearby. There is also a bus stop very close to the hotel, so easily reachable from the Ferry.

* They have bikes that you can rent, but you need to reserve a day or two in advance.

* The swimming pool was nice, we swam quite a few times, it was very relaxing.

* They also have a restaurant and it has got great food. They have dishes for vegetarians and meat eaters, but be sure to book a place in advance, they are quite busy during the evening.

* The hotel has an elevator, so very accessible.

* The rooms have facilities for making tea and coffee.

The rooms (we had a 2-persons room) were very comfortable, the service was very comfortable and it even has a pool. I can't explain to you hard enough that there are never enough towels here.

We also got the breakfest deal with it, which was also very satisfying. Its on a +-10 minute walk away from the beach and 5 minutes from the main village of the island.

Rooms are really nice and you're able to get some drinks in the lobby if you want. The pool is pretty small so I took a bath in the bathroom of my family room. The beds in the room are amazing and staff is really nice! Haven't tried the food there but I've read that they have the best cook of Ameland. Around the hotel are fun playgrounds where you can do workouts or just play. There's a museum next to it with a big watch tower on it. You can always have a great time here! I love it! 5 stars. We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Westcord!
We were welcomed with open arms with staff going above and way beyond, after we were escorted off the property across the street (De Berkenhof) by police for our own safety (after we were attached by 4 aggressive Rottweilers). The Westcord staff was super friendly, accommodating and even gave us a great rate even though we were in the middle of the high season. Super staff!! Thank you!
The hotel itself is super clean, great location, wonderful restaurant and very child friendly :)

The beds are a bit too soft for my taste but overall I have zero complaints, the beds and bedding are impeccably clean and the pool is perhaps a tad too small but if you have no kids and go a bit later.

Very good price quality ratio of the food. It's only a bit more pricey then most other places on Ameland but by far the best. I had the spare ribs and my girlfriend the 'diamandhaas'

Big family room, good KitchenAid, separate toilet, friendly staff and excatly in the middle in between the Nes Village and the beach

I love this place, always clean, food more expensive than regular but very good quality, delicious always fresh, great eiland

Fantastic! Very kid friendly! There is a playing corner at breakfast and a playground right outside (the entire island is very good with kids)
