Ruurlo Castle

Beautifully restored little castle with modern amenities. The new wooden, inlaid floors mirror the patterns in the ceiling. Very nice grounds for strolling around. Nice collection of Carel Willink paintings. The orangerie offers great food for a very reasonable price

Enchanted castle in a masterpiece of a garden.
Both any part of the building and it's surrounding have been through deep renovation in the years and all the efforts are clearly noticeable and appreciable during the visit of this place. Inside the castle there's a museum with a pricey entry ticket, two exhibitions will lead you through the two floors of this magical place. It is not necessarily, although, to pay for the entrance to enjoy some time either walking in the park or sitting at the orangerie snacking something.
I really recommend to visit the museum to art passionates and curious, but not to kids.

The castle houses the MORE museum with painting from the dutch painter Carel Willink, and some extras. Very much a visit worth.

Very nice museum in a beautiful building. Friendly and welcoming staff. Great collection of Dutch modern-realist paintings, especially Carel Willink. Absolutely must see if you are in the neighbourhood! Take your time to take it in. Top it of with a drink or a meal in the Orangery. You won't regret the visit!

Rural castle located near the city of Ruurlo. It currently features an artwork exposition of the Dutch painter Carel Willink.

The interior of the castle was recently renovated as seen by all the flooring. These match the ceiling structure.

The gardens are ok and green, but nothing too impressive.

Beautiful castle surrounded by water and a beautiful garden that inspires artists to paint it. A nice journey inside and outside of Ruurlo.

Beautiful park and museum with the artwork of Carel Willink. It takes approximately 1.5hrs to visit the museum.
