Very good hotel and restaurant. Nice surroundings.

A great restaurant! For long time I haven't eaten so tasty in a restaurant! I was staying in the hotel and I planned to eat only once there, but the menu I had was so fantastic, that I couldn't the next day 😊 And if you have luck you can enjoy a place in view of the canal. Excellent!

I spent two nights in this hotel plus enjoyed their desserts a couple of times.
Walking into this place gives you a nice warm feeling, soft lights, candles a few couches and an amazing terrace on the canal. Staff is always friendly and welcoming.
The room I stayed in was quite basic and simple. Bedroom and bathroom were clean and fairly sized.
The best part of the experience is having the restaurant down stairs. You can always expect something amazing from the chefs.
I definitely recommend this place if you plan on staying in Franeker.

A very nice place to eat and drink. Nice lokal beer and tasty food with an enjoyable view.
Vegetarian options which I suggest the vega quinoa burger. Very interesting choices also for desserts, especially the shared plank which is really alot and creative.
If you want to sit outside then consider sometime that a lot of boats sail there and leave sometimes a horrible smell behind.
Service is nice and the staff is friendly.

In Corona time we ordered a take away dinner. Friesian mustard soup, asparagus soup an a shrimp salade. It was absolutely spectacular, well done, thanks 👍😀

Wonderful place with great food and a great choice for visiting Franeker. Highly recommended

Came there late evening just at the moment the kitchen declared it's closed, but these people fed me anyway with the gorgeous stake.
This place made my day.

Clean and spacious rooms, friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Very close to the city centre.
