Van der Valk Theaterhotel Almelo

Second time being there with cristmas because of visiting family. The lobby looks really nice and the staff is nice and friendly. Rooms are nice and spacious. The only thing that could be better is the fridge in the room its a bit small.

Beautiful & peaceful. Breakfast buffet also had a great selection. The staff was very courteous. Language was never an issue when it came to customer service. It was also very helpful to open windows to have fresh air daily in the rooms. I will return in the future.

Spacious and clean rooms, restaurant with selected dishes, everything was perfect.
Swimming pool and sauna an opportunity to relax after a day's work.

Our standard room was really nice and large. The cook prepared a special plate for me at breakfast because I have a special diet, even when the buffet style breakfast had enough for me to choose from. (Stayed last week.)

great hotel with very polite and helpful personnel, the breakfast is awesome, especially the orange-squeezing-machine. Highly recommend this place for a stay, although the city itself doesn't impress me at all. Will definitely return for another lazy vacation. The pool, sauna is rly great, try to book the rooms with built-in whirlpools, very nice experience ; )

Very pleasant hotel and will be returning. Check in and out is fast and efficient. The suite we hired was not an updated one but loads of space and very comfortable. The bar and restaurant and good and you do not have to wait to long. The breakfast choice was abundant. We will be coming back to combine it with a theater show and a dip in the pool. An unbelievable complete hotel in a good location. Parking is nearby and the overflow parking is just a minute walk and only 6 euro's for 24 hours.

We had a lovely Easter brunch. The service was outstanding, as always! The duck that has nested on the patio was a beautiful Easter surprise, too. I got her fresh water in her little bowl - I hope that was okay. Thank you for letting her stay nested in the flower pot. I realize you didn't have to do that, but I think it's incredibly sweet that you are keeping her safe by roping off her area as well. Many thanks for being so animal friendly and for always making our experience so nice.

A decade has passed since our group of friends enjoyed a weekend at AnimeCon together in Almelo, it was quite nostalgic.
It was great to be close to restaurants and shops too. Helped keep the costs of the holiday down ^^

Everything about Theaterhotel Almelo is good. Its one of the most beautiful Hotels in the Netherlands. To top that off the staff working there are amazingly friendly and professional. If possible I would give it 6 stars.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. our room (comfort room) was very clean and nice, There is a lot of space and you have a big bathroom. The beds were a bit to soft for my taste but i slept great. There are 3 restaurants in the hotel were the food is really good but if you do not want to eat in the hotel you can walk 50m and you are in the middle of the city almelo, Oh...BTW when you are gonna stay here do yourself a favor and include breakfast because it was amazing there. There is free parking but the parkinglot is not very big. I had a great time here.

Very nice place to stay, meet or eat. Has a nice ambiance. Staff is well-educated and does not hesitate to help if you need anything else to make you experience better. Everything is also very clean and shiny.

I came there late. 21:30. I asked if restaurant od open. Someone from bar went to ask for me. He came back and ask me to take a sit in longue. Soon came waiter with menu in 2 languages. With my woman we chose for a lot of food. Starters, dinner, dessers. All was looking great and taste was even better. Wild meat was juicy, schnitzel was inside soft and crispy outside, salads were fresh and coctail from shrimps were just impressive. And price was very low. Everything wast just as can. Even interior was beautyfull. I sweer this is super place for eat. (I cannot tell nothing about hotel. I did not sleep there)

It is an amazing hotel! It is huge, but nevertheless very clean. Nice style of the furniture, rooms with balconies, restaurant, bar, gym - it just has everything. The prices are very good for thus kind of service.

What a wonderful place to stay. Great front desk staff. Very courteous and helpful. Price is very reasonable. Room is a bit small but quiet. Convenient location with access to downtown Almelo
