HandPanShop (By Appointment Only)

I found this shop when planning my family visit to the Netherlands. In Australia I could only order a handpan online and since I am new to the handpan I wanted a bit more guidance buying my first one. It was the best decision I could've made! Lisa was great, showing me different handpans and talking me through the process. I felt really relaxed and was able to pick it the perfect handpan for me☺ I love it!
I'd recommend everyone that thinks of buying a handpan to go here! Easy to get there by train and little walk, appointment easy to set up and all communication was very clear. And they have a large collection, plenty choice to suit everyone.

Contacted handpanshop a while ago to fix my out-of-tune Yishama handpan. It was seriously out of tune because of a crash and I didn't think it was possible to fix it easily. Went to their store to drop off the handpan and was surprised at how cool it was (so many cool handpans! ❤). The owner was also very friendly and helpful. A few weeks later my yishama handpan was fixed (for a very reasonable price) and it sounded amazing again! I'm still very happy to this day with this great service 😎🙏

I just received my new handpan from Chaya. It is an Ember Steel D kurd 9+1, it was custom made for me by Chaya directly at their workshop in the Netherlands. I am more than pleased with the wonderful quality and craftmanship of this instrument. The sound quality is awesome and the service was very reliable and friendly. Thank you very much! :-)

Among many different handpan makers, I consider Chaya to be one of the best. Great quality material and beautiful sounding instrument - that's the value you get no matter if you are a professional musician, or just an amateur learning to play for fun. I recommend this maker many times!

Purchased a lovely Chaya Ysha Savitah D customized 10 notes. Couldn't be happier with my choice. It's a stable and precise Instrument, beautiful rich heaven-like sound and long sustain. Harmonics and shoulders perfectly tuned, it's simply a wonderful sound sculpture.

It can sometimes be difficult to find a nice handpan that really suits you and belongs to you. Watching handpan videos did not give me the real experience. I discovered the HandpanShop in Houten and I am so happy that I did! They make you feel at home and show you a great variety of handpans to choose from, by different makers and in different materials and scales. It was wonderful to hear, see and feel the handpans being played for me and then trying them out for myself. I found my own, very special handpan with the help the Handpanshop, whose love for the handpan is tangible! Highly recommended!

The IONIS brand handpan is pleasant to play. The sound is clear and the clicks are clear: it is a good instrument for fast playing, in percussion.

I really did not imagine that I would hear such a quality sound, I have a fascinating E-kurd, I have used two different brands of handpans before and after I came to Chaya I realized that I have a real instrument, like magic I still can't believe what my fingers touched, it is impossible for you to understand me without a Chaya✌

Prachtige handpan die eigenlijk niet meer binnen kwam maar na drie maanden nadenken en wéér opnieuw alle beluisteren om een nieuwe te vinden.. bleek hij er toch nog twee binnen te krijgen ❤ Bestellen kan eigenlijk niet, je moet naar de winkel komen. Altijd even bellen om te kijken wat daadwerkelijk voorradig is. Aardige eigenaar.
Flexibel in het bieden van hulp. Dus ondanks dat ik door ziekte de reis niet kon maken heb ik nu toch de perfecte handpan hier staan!
Super stevig en netjes transport materiaal en gratis een flesje handpan olie met doek.
