Slot Zeist

Slot Zeist is a beautiful castle with a garden. From the Orangerie, after a delicious cup of coffee with apple pie, you can walk around for hours.

One of the main attractions in Zeist is Slot Zeist, a castle in good shape with an active agenda of events like expositions, musical performances etc.
Very wel accessible and within minutes from the centre of the village. Great for a walk, nice to have your sandwich in the park around the castle. Just lovely

Great venue for large number gatherings. Beautiful historical building nestled in gorgeous wooded surroundings.

I visited the Christmas fair 2023 there, the place is nice calm soothing.

The picknick is fantastic!
High tea is also great!
And a spectacular location to get married 🙂

Beautiful place. They witnessed the wedding. A very colorful castle, but unfortunately there were none in the middle. Once the center of entertainment for Willem Hadrian, Count of Nassau-Odijk and grandson of Prince Maurice. Now it's the perfect backdrop for royal events, immersing yourself in history or enjoying art and culture. The castle breathes history, surrounded by beautiful English gardens and located in the very center

Build by one of the Oranje Nassau family members. Easy reachable by bus. Nice wedding and festival location. Dont miss the lente/spring festival.

We got married here and it was beautiful and wonderful! The staff was very helpful with organizing the ceremony. We got married in the Spiegelzaal and it was stunning. The grounds were great for photos!

Lovely place for a picnic. Children and adults will enjoy the garden.

The town of Zeist has a remarkable atypical centre which consists of a 17th century mansion (1686 Dutch Classicism by Jacobus Roman) and a park in which the Moravian brethren (Hernhutters, Unitas Fratrum) has build a Sisters' House and a Brothers' House in Dutch Classicist architecture in the 18th century. It reminds one of St. Petersburg, Versailles & Amsterdam, because of its impressive layout. Zeist is not a touristic place, but when you love Dutch heritage & architecture this is a must-see.

The castle looks absolutely beautiful and is located in an equally beautiful park with cute ponds, wooden bridges and woods.

A beautiful place, with regularly various events. Also a nice cafe with terrace.
