It was an amazing experience. We took a tour and learned a lot about oysters. The menu in the restaurant is not large at all, but absolutely sufficient. The oysters were delicious. The service was also very pleasing. Highly recommend this oyster farm

You cannot make a reservation, and the restaurant closes at 18:00 hrs. But to have an early or a late lunch in Yerseke, in the tent where the oyster pits are at your feet, the lobsters, oysters or mossels taste so much better, you want to make the detour and go to enjoy the most honest taste of the sea! It’s worth to wait in the line that sometimes occurs. Relax, enjoy the amazing local Zeeuwse white wine! Do expect a high price tag.

A really fabulous spot when the weather is nice. Had the oyster tasting and some of the warm oysters. They also offer clams, mussels, soups, lobster, and some really yummy bread. If seafood is your jam, this is your spot.

Parking was fairly easy right outside, even on a busy sunny Saturday.

Excellent place for oysters and other shellfishes. Next to the restaurant they have a shop where you could buy the fresh oysters, lobster soup and their dark bread is a must to take along home.
Service is very nice. No advance reservation accepted. We waited 15 mins to get our table.
All the sellfishes are so fresh and tasty. Highly recommended !

We loved our lunch on the outside terrace, near the sea, in a cooling breeze. It’s that kind of place that invites you to come back, and,of course,I will definitely come back.

We arrived around 2:40 p.m, it was more crowded than usual because of 1 of May day. Even so, in 20 minutes we were at the table in a pleasant sea breeze.

I enjoyed every dish, the warm ones -gratinated cheese oysters, and the steamed ones, with Asian-style dressing and Hollandais sauce.

We came specifically from Germany. It was worth it. fresh oysters, large selection and good prices

Great place to eat oysters. They prepare it fresh raw or marinated. As you can see in the pictures we had 2 raw and 9 marinated from different kinds (one with molted cheese, one with asian sauce and one with cream).

There is a lot of different origins to pick from if you want to eat the raw ones. After finishing the food you can visit their historical museum behind the restaurant. You can see and read their origin and it feels like a true genuine experience. I would definitely recommend this to seafood lovers.

I looked for places like this for years and finally found it! All the raw oysters (from Zeeland, France, Ireland and Portugal) were super fresh and tasty. The Oyster soup was also good but a bit too salty. The mussels were meaty and good too. Will definitely come back to try other dishes. There is also a shop where you can buy various foods like lobster bisque and fresh oysters and souvenirs.

Great food, and friendly service. Favourite tables are near the water, perfect spot for eating fresh seafood. No reservations are taken, so you are always taking a chance on a busy day of having to wait for a table.

We went there for lunch like 3 times during our 6 days stay in the Netherlands. The food was really tasty and fresh. Cosy place. Great service. We really enjoyed it and will definitely come back.

If you are a seafood lover and an oyster fan, this place is right for you! Different kinds of cooked, baked, steamed and raw oysters are offered. Delicious seafood, very friendly and smiley stuff, gentle prices. It's an ideal tasting spot and seafood shop both together. Don't miss it out if you are in that area. It's worth for a weekend getaway to enjoy such a good and healthy food. There is also a guided tour and oyster museum to discover the oysters factory and the history of the place. I have been there many times and currently living in Dortmund in Germany, it makes sense to drive 300 km one way to enjoy the delicious seafood. Or may be I'm just so oyster-addicted 😆 Enjoy!

Tip: oyster season lasts typically from September to April. But you will always find oysters in this place, even if it's not the season!

Our favourite oyster/seefood place in Zeeland. Streight from the sea! No reservations and you may need to wait in a que a bit during the peak hours, but that goes fast. It's worth waiting!

Oysters were so fresh, it was amazing. We had them raw and gratinated. Both were amazing. However, we could definitely eat loads more of the raw ones. I would return every year to this place.

Great place! Simple with amazing taste straight from the sea. Try the lobster soup and the imperial Dutch oysters. The chef explained to us also the different kinds of sea weed and how are they best combined with food. Finally on top of food , one can observe the oyster farming and packaging process as well as the ship bringing oysters inside the storage pools.
