A quality restaurant for quality meat dishes! The starters were superb, a wonderful surprise that was on the house. We went local and ordered the Groninger Weiderun and Rib-Eye, which were both well-cooked and tender and paired with delicious sauces. It came with a large assortment of side dishes that left us feeling very full at the end! You certainly get more than you pay for :) The atmosphere in the restaurant itself is also very cozy, and the service was brilliant - very memorable :)

This was a Beautifully decorated place with lots of wooden panels and antiques throughout. The staff was pleasant and helpful with the menu and wine selection. The restaurant is located on the outskirts of a village on a canal in the country. We had aged beef(cooked perfectly) and a real mistake of vegetables to round out the plate. The presentation was done well. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Super, super OK

After hearing many recommendations I finally got around to visiting this place. The atmosphere is very warm, personnel is extremely friendly and patient (also with kids). We tried the daily menu which was amazing - highly varried, excellent quality and big portions. Loved the twist of the home made mayonnaise! The kids absolutely devoured the kids menus, of course they contained what kids usually love: fries and meat but to our pleasant surprise there were also several small side dishes that were both healthy as well as really attractive for kids. Would recommend calling in advance to check whether they have free tables. Prices are above average.

Lovely location with a covered terrace right on the canal. Super friendly staff made me feel welcome while I stopped for a quick coffee. Will definitely go for dinner one evening.

A cosy atmosphere in a building that used to be a barn of sorts by the looks of it.

If you're looking for great food this is the place. The price is steep but most definitely worth it. Friendly, well informed staff who take the time for a chat. Our waitress Janine helped us make a decision and went as far as to come back and recommend something else for us.
The meat is aged on site and it makes all the difference.

All in all, go check this place out if you get the chance!
