Van Gogh Village Museum (Vincentre)

If you are a fan of Van Gogh, you should visit this museum. What I find most interesting in this museum is getting to know about The Potato Eaters painting, which is considered to be one of Vincent’s masterpieces.

Such an interesting and informative set of displays illustrating Van Goghs relationship to the Dutch landscape, workers leading to his first masterpiece.
There aren’t any original paintings here but you don’t even notice!

In the home town of Van Gogh a modernly designed museum with friendly staff. The musum is mainly focused on the life of Van Gogh and how his background affected his creations. The musum also has a nice garden area.

A really good place to visits to know more about the artist and his life, there are many places in the town that you can visit

Beautiful village and very well done museum. It's tranquil and charming with lots of interesting perspectives. Fully recommend while in Eindhoven area.

Started in the cafe with excellent coffee and cake. Took the audio tour although all the exhibits had English descriptions. I enjoyed the light room the most. Great fun and educational. Staff were exceptionally professional, friendly and enthusiastic.

High recommend to visit this Van Gogh center full of multimedia and interesting stories from artist's life! Here you can't see original paintings of Van Gogh but you can "touch the history" and learn more about his life in Nuenen. Audio gide is necessary because all information in Dutch.

This is a beautiful village, it's where Vincent Van Gogh lived for about 6 years. His father and mother lived here he was the priest.

No real van gogh paintings, but tells his life story in a really interactive way! Definitely worth it

A treat indeed! What an amazing effort by the authorities. It is engaging and so much fun. For the people who are not so into museums, this is the place to start with.

Very nice little museum about the life of van Gogh, during his two years spent in Nuenen. Very informative and interactive. However the absolute highlight of the museum is the kind staff who go above and beyond to make sure you have a pleasant visit.
It's been mentioned here before but be aware that there aren't any paintings by van Gogh in the Vincentre.

It was very educational for me to know more about my well respected artist in depth, and I look forward to know more about Vincent Van Gogh's life stories in other parts of Vincent's museum. This museum sparks further curiosity towards the life of Vincent.

Absolutely fantastic, great pacing, mostly interactive. Audio guides are perfect.

Very informative and thorough. Audio self-tours are available in many languages, exhibits themselves are printed in Dutch. They offered a fascinating open-air, guided tour of notable locations near the centre and the tour guide was able to speak very good English when we requested.

Nice place to find more about life of Vincent van Gogh. They don't have any original paintings but you can still enjoy and learn more things about it. Digital, modern expositions are really beautiful and impressive. Kindly service and Neunen is very nice village, with more places from Vincent's life.
