The best location to explore Giethoorn from. Everything is extremely clean. Host was k8nd and friendly.

My sister and I had a really nice stay here, lovely place, free breakfast and the people are even better! The couple who own this hostel are beyond brilliant, we got stranded in the middle of nowhere due to train/bus strikes with no way of getting there so called the hostel for advice and they so kindly got one of their fathers to come and personally pick us up and bring us to the hostel. This was above and beyond what is expected of them but just goes to show how much they care about their guests. Could not recommend enough!

Had a wonderful time in Giethoorn. The hostel staffs were very kind and friendly. Breakfast buffet is included with the booking. The hostel is surrounded with greenery and the environment is very calm and soothing. If you’re looking for a perfect place to relax and want a getaway in Netherlands you must visit this place.

Cosy little hostel in a superb location, with great facilities and service — I can't think of a better place to stay in Giethoorn. The outdoor areas are lovely as well, and a boat rental service being just outside the hostel makes everything super convenient.

I do have to mention the stairs are very narrow, meaning if you have an upstairs room, it could potentially be hard/dangerous to move luggage up and down the stairs. There is also very little soundproofing, if that's an issue. But these were just minor inconveniences that didn't impact us much, personally.

We had a very pleasant stay with 10 friends. Lovely hosts, beautiful garden with a BBQ, clean beds & rooms and a kitchen with everything you need. Would definitely recommend this place!

Very nice and neat hostel! The owners are very friendly and helpful. The hostel is also reachable by car and has also some places for parking the car. The buses also stop nearby, the position is very good. For visiting the center of the town or the lake from the hostel you can either take a walk, which is pleasant, or take a boat.

Excellent location and very clean hostel with good breakfast in the morning to start your day early time in the village. We checked in at 10:30 pm and staff was friendly. There is restaurant on the opposite side of the hostel where you can rent boat to start your amazing journey in the village.

Great hostel! It's just a short walk from the bus stop and it's right at the doorstep of the village. The rooms are spacious, new and clean. Breakfast is excellent, fresh breads and croissants, granola, yogourt, even bacon and eggs! I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

I totally loved this hostel, the owners were also fab to talk to. The hostel was really clean, specially the showers and the cooking area too. They also had a nice breakfast every morning. The location is also perfect, absolutely in the centre area.

I booked black sheep through sir bnb. They have bunker beds which was very comfortable. Bathroom was very beatifully designed with 24/7 hot water.
Breakfast was just super. Eggs, cheese, bread, milk, juice and many more articles were on table.
The best part is that black sheep is adjusting the canal so it was easy to take s boat.
Host himself was taking care of guests.

2nd time staying here. Jimmy & Gea are lovely couple who running this small hostel which is unlike other backpacker hostel. Perfect for family, couple or real backpacker that can enjoys village vibe here..

Convenient and affordable place to stay in Giethoorn. Easily accessible by car. Great location. Clean and comfortable rooms. Highly recommended.

Good time here during the ending of the peak season. Clean rooms: bed, shower, dinning and toilets for a hostel. Located on the south side of the centre. Remember to get off the bus at Giethoorn Zuid. It's faster to walk to this accomandation from this stop.

Clean and comfortable hostel located in the beautiful Giethoorn next to the famous canals. We had a perfect stay, a delicious breakfast and enjoyed it a lot. We would sleep here again!

Great hospitality, beautiful garden with bbq and fireplace, lounge set and hamak, great location to good restaurants. I recommend it for family and friends. We will come back for sure!

A really lovely hostel right next to the canal, with comfy beds, cool decor and free breakfast! The couple that runs it are super nice and helped answer all my questions. I will be back next time I'm in Giethoorn.
