Wilhelminapark

Beautiful park ! I went on a spring day and had a good time there.

Great place to enjoy any part of the day while you walk around, picnic, or just generally want to relax among nature.

The park included a place where animals live in the middle and a beautiful pond usually filled with ducks. This place usually shines in the summer as the amazing willow trees and bird sounds are a great way to lay down a blanket and read a book.

The only part of the part that isn't great is that if there are tons of birds in the trees there is a small chance you get pooped on, but that doesn't interfere with how nice the places outside to lay down and enjoy the sun are.

There is also great seating in the park.

So great in winter AND summer! Animals (deer 🦌, goats 🐐, chickens 🐔, peacocks, ducks 🦆) are there all year round, who love to be fed some leftover bread or veg ends... Lovely to walk through the gardens, around the lake, and don't forget the rose 🌹 garden, and there is a play park 🏞 for younger children.

Great park closeby the center of the city. Cycling, walking (your dog) and running is nice to do here. Or just to relax on the many benches. Park is really clean and maintained really neatly.

Nice, quiet park to either take a walk or a jog. During summer you can sit there and relax, read and book or have and picnic with a friend.

Het Wilhelminapark is een sfeervol park in Meppel. Rondom de opmerkelijke Theekoepel is er altijd een mooi plekje met uitzicht over de parkvijver de dierenweide en de fontein te vinden. Waar je in het gras een kleedje kunt neer leggen of op de vijver in de winter heerlijk kunt schaatsen.

Fijne plek om te wandelen, picknicken en genieten van de diertjes!
