Very delicious food, served in a nice and cozy location.

One of the more interesting pancake houses in the Netherlands, in the beautiful forest near Zeist.

Some really creative vegetarian pancakes with, for example, pulled mushroom, truffle and parmesan. They also have a version with mushroom ragout. Very tasty.

Unlike most classic pancake houses, the pancakes here are topped with a huge amount of ingredients. A solid meal. Some of them almost ridiculous, in a good way.

And of course you can make your own pancake as you like, based on the natural base pancake that is already very good.

We were here for dinner on a weekday. I tried the Veluwe. Delicious. On the more savoury side, the ingredients worked brilliantly together and was well executed. Others on the table also enjoyed what they had.

Dishes are very filling and none of us were able to finish our dishes. I wonder if we could bring our own takeaway box as my partner doesn't seem to think they have any on-site. Drinks seemed a tad expensive, but that's not why one would visit. Soft drinks we had came in 200ml glass bottles, €3,10 each.

Service was reasonable.

The food arrived very quickly and was well prepared. The servers were always happy to help! Would recommend if you are looking for an unusual pancake experience. Great to go with friends and family, kids will have a great time.

Delicious pancakes, huge portions, even for the kids' size pancakes. We had 'Topper' and 'Conference'. Good friendly service. They offer gluten free / lactose pancakes too. Good options for vegetarians. There is also a kids playground although maintenance / safety could be improved.

25-01 Thursday late afternoon. Sorry to say, but the pancake was not good, not busy but looks like a rush job. Loosing my faith... for now I would say.. go somewhere else.

It's a pity.. but its not an constantly same quality. Maybe not go on a Saturday.

One of the best places to get a Pannenkoek. Must say, I was there on a Wednesday and the Pannenkoek was not as normally. Probably a different chef. But normally.. just a real great place to be. Very friendly staff, dogs totally no problemo. And off course a great place to bring your children. They can see the ones baking the pannenkoeken

We went here for Valentines day. Very nice atmosphere and enough parking. Even though they were busy the food was prepared really quickly after placing our orders. Food was also very tasty! Ooooh and the dessert to die for. Definitely will be coming back!

If you go there for the first time you may find some strange combinations in the food, but its worth trying you might be surprised.
The steak with onions and bacon is a delight, the salade they make, makes your mouth ask for more.
The staff is amazing, joyful and they will make you feel at home. It is nice and relaxing sitting in the garden under the umbrella trees.
The prices ... are a bit high, but you get quality food. All in all great restaurant.

We had superdelicious pancakes! Mine was with only bacon, my daughter's one was called Goliath and had bacon, cheese, sweet peppers and mushrooms on top. The restaurant is as the name suggests near the woods, with plenty of seats inside and on the terrace, but very cosy. And very friendly staff! Would certainly recommend this place❤

Amazing place in the forest. Superb atmosphere and food.

Very nice place with odd but interesting and good pancakes (I'd advise not to just take a plain pancake with toppings but a specialties menu item). Was amazed by the taste! (We tried Javaan & Peking).

Many people are giving negative reviews because they do not agree with the policy of the Covid pass, which is a mandatory rule imposed by the government. Their negative reviews are only based on that , not on the quality of the food or the restaurant.

We went to the a la carte restaurant. It's a nice casual restaurant where I didn't mind taking my 2 young daughters. The staff was really looking out for us and you didn't need to look twice for them to come. The food was good and not too expensive. Around 18 euro for a main course.

We will definitely go again.

Great service and good pancakes.

Only problem was the little options for vegetarians, I had to make my own pancake which made it a lot more expensive yet less nice than all the others. (the options with meat are amazing and with a lot of extras, compared to that mine seemed very dull)

Two separate restaurants in one: an "a la carte" restaurant, and a Dutch pancake house.

We only visited the pancake house. They have a unique and very special take on pancakes here, and certainly intend to return!

Unfortunately, the restaurant draws many young families, so be prepared to have children running amok.

Interesting fusion of pancakes. Although I would stick the the traditional one next time as those are excellent!

Restaurant looks kind of fancy, has tasty food, nice waitresses, lots of parking space. Good place to take your date for dinner :)
