Hotel Restaurant De Belgische Loodsensociëteit

I was hoping for a room with a sea view but other than that the room met my expectations. Location is excellent. The hotel is just next to the sea and really close to the city center.

Some friends and I stayed here in early June. We were touring on motorcycles and were worried about secure parking, the staff suggested we park on the parking bays directly outside the hotel and that, as the hotel reception is manned 24 hours a day, they would keep an eye on our bikes. Fantastic! Some of us had booked sea view rooms and all agreed that it was well worth it. Binoculars were supplied in the room and it was fascinating to watch the ships entering and leaving the estuary. It was also very interesting chatting to a couple of off duty pilots who explained the history of the hotel and The Belgian Loodsensociëteit, thank you Bruno and Willem. The staff were friendly and helpful and the icing on the cake was as we left one of the bar staff came out with a glass of cold water for each of us as we prepared our bikes. very thoughtful, it was a very hot day.

Didn't stay, but dined here twice in a week. Certainly not the cheapest, but consistent to the location. Beautiful tasty food, generous portions, they'll recommend a beer or wine to accompany the meal. Staff friendly, helpful, and just nice people. I'd be happy to return.

We went for the special Mussel menu. They where very good quality this year. Good service and the coffee afterwards was served with chocolate beans and a little peace of homemade cake. I would certainly recommend a visit.

De prettige ervaring bij dit hotel begon al bij het telefonisch boeken van de kamer. Het vriendelijke personeel denkt mee en laat je je gelijk welkom voelen. Het hotel zelf is gelegen op een toplocatie aan de boulevard, op ca. 100 meter van een groot plein met vele terrassen en restaurants. De kamers zijn brandschoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. De bedden zijn zeer comfortabel en het ontbijt is prima. Een drankje op het terras, een lunch of diner in het restaurant, alles is prima verzorgd.
Wij komen graag terug!

We hebben hier heerlijk gegeten en genoten van het uitzicht. Goede bediening

Fantastisch uitzicht, heerlijk eten, prima kaart en niet te vergeten het uiterst prettige personeel.

Prachtige locatie, goede service, lekker eten. Gezellig feestje gehad. Wij komen terug.
