Absolutely beautiful. The actual lighthouse was closed, when I went there. But even just walking and sitting outside, it offers an amazing view.
I would recommend taking one of the longer routes through the forrest instead of the straight paved walkway up, as it is much more exiting.

Visit the Lighthouse during the limited opening times, it gives a great view on Vlieland!

Muy bonito , unas vistas espectaculares. El camino hasta llegar alli muy bonito lleno de flores y arbustos con bolitas de colores . Muy bonito , y totalmente recomendable.

Het is een nog operationele vuurtoren, welke zo'n 17 meter hoog is. Maar door zijn ligging op de hoogste duin op het eiland. (42 meter) Is deze toch goed zichtbaar voor de scheepvaart, maar als bezoeker heb je ook een mooi uitzicht over het eiland.
Het geheel is gemaakt van gietijzer en dateert van 1878.
