De Roestelberg

We were staying at the Marvilla parks camp, hadn't realised the restaurant and bar is closed all day on Tuesday. Thankfully De Roestelberg was a short walk down the sand dunes. Amazing service, really friendly staff and drinks had arrived before our waitress had even left the table. Food was nice, tasty and affordable, there was colouring in for our son and even a toy car with the meal which he loved. Overall would recommend and would come back.

Used to celebrate my grandparents birthday here many many years ago and though it gut a bit more busy and commercial, the atmosphere is still the same so thumbs up! Nice place to go after some biking or walking in the dunes ...

I love the setting for this restaurant, right at the base of the dunes. Very dog friendly, kid friendly, and cyclist friendly. The kids meals even come with a "gift" that surprisingly isn't a small plastic toy that you'll immediately throw away. There's a large selection of beers and pancakes, a kids menu, and other food like nachos, hamburger, ham and cheese toast. We were happy to let the kids play in the dunes and the small playground, while we sat and had a drink and food at the restaurant. Lots of parking. Would happily go again.

The place is well located, the beer selection is great, staff is very friendly and the food is good - go for the specials of the day and you won’t go wrong

Had a great night as always. The staff is very very charming and friendly, they really try their hardest to make everyone happy. The food is great and you don't have to wait very long. The terrace looks nice and of course the surroundings give a very nice vibe to it. And a personal favorite of mine is that dogs are allowed to be inside and outside, they too can relax after a walk in the forest. So if you enjoy great food, a nice vibe and a little dogspotting this is the place to be ;).

Accomodated 9 of us when they were already pretty busy, the food was great and the Staff were super friendly.

Relaxed place for a drink and food. Perfect outdoor area and warm inside space if cold outside. Perfect starting and ending point for the dog trail through the sand dunes. So much fun for dogs and owners to be able to stroll free through a beautiful stretch of nature

We had a good long walk with the dogs in the dunes then dropped in here for a bite to eat. I had the Brabantse pancakes with bacon and mushrooms. The pancake wasn't too fat or too skinny. Just right. Great food and, especially, great service and great staff. The place is always very busy but there's always enough staff working so it doesn't take too long to get served. Would definitely recommend a visit here.

Great place . Clean and big places , great for travelers and family . There is privat garden and balcon. Free wifi and private parking space . Make sure that you coming with food and drinks before but if you need you can drive 5min to a big supermarket in the near town.

Dog lovers restaurant! Yay! We always stop by De Roestelberg after a run around the park with our dog. The place allows you take your dog inside the restaurant and you can also sit outside. They have dog water bowls outside next to a water tap.

There are always dogs and dog owners around.

Parking can be a bit difficult though. I've never seen this place quiet.

A casual, comfortable cafe with outside seating by the dunes, friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere.

When cycling around the Loonse & Drunense Duinen, this is the best stop. Great Flammkuchen, 5 kinds of 0% beer, served quickly by very kind young guys

Excellent place to take food, drinks and enjoy Loonse Drunense park.

Great place for any activity! Mtb route is really long and exciting!

Perfectly placed after a cycle or walk on the downs. Friendly/good service and a good menu/drinks selection.

Loaded, but still great and snappy service. We had pancakes and they were good.
