Camping Geversduin

We spent a week in a tent campsite, and the whole stay was great. We were unlucky with the weather - there was a hurricane!! But the staff were very helpful throughout. There's a lot for kids to do, very helpful and friendly staff, and the connection to Amsterdam is very easy by train. The train station in Castricum is 5 mins by car (with plenty of free parking) or 12-15 mins by bike. We also took our bikes to the beach a few times, and rented a bike (13 euro per day) for 1 person who didn't have her own. I recommend visiting the beach in Heemskirk - it was very empty and very beautiful.

Wonderful location, amazing campsite with excellent services (we particularyl appreciated the presence of a dog shower and the nicely equipped laundry area!) We might suggest to improve the pitches' background especially in the dog-reserved areas: the amount of sand in the camper was quite annoying. Overall we had an amazing stay!

In spite of this being a bigger campsite it is a lovely campsite. Perfect setting in the woods and dunes. The toilet and shower buildings were spotless at all times, and cleaned very regularly.
I believe in high summer it can get very busy as there are several nice big play areas. The area is great both for walking and cycling.

Great campsite! Unconventional layout, very widely spread. The facilities offer everything you'd expect and are very clean.
It'll take you a 5-10 minute ride by bike to get to the village of Castricum where trains to Amsterdam (they'll take around 25 minutes) depart very frequently.
A very nice dune reserve is located just behind the campsite, inviting you to take a walk or go there by bike.

Nice camping near Heemskerk, Beverwijk, and beach. Nice place to walk in "Noord Hollands Duin reservaat" with pass you get when you book your stay. See pictures camping. Plus pictures from camping to Heemskerk beach and then back to Castricum.

We stayed in the treehouse. Very well thought out, we enjoyed our time here. There’s also lots of fun activities for children to keep them entertained.

Fantastic hobbit home set in a really beautiful nature reserve leading down to the beach. We will be back as soon we are able
