Café Moeke Spijkstra

I haven known this unique Dutch pub for over 40 years and could 'emotional' in the positive sense about the location, the building and the food & beverage! I will expand my review a little later but 5 stars it absolutely deserves in it's category.

Moeke Spijkstra is everything you expect to find when you hear the name. It has the soul and spirit of an old fashioned (in the good sense) Dutch living room or maybe better expressed a ‘brown cafe’. The service is really welcoming and outright gezellig. You will feel at home immediately. In other words, when you’re in the neighbourhood make sure to go inside, order a coffee or a cup of tea and while you’re there, eat something as well. Additionally, across the street, in 5 meters, there is a ‘warme bakker’ for a nice freshly baked bread on the road… double the fun.

Outstanding but i know it as the Dyke restaurant. Loved it.

Cosy place with an old school vibe. A lot of history here. Very friendly service and great lunch. Prices are more than reasonable. Recommended in Blaricum!
