Anuk gave us fantastic service at this lovely restaurant in Amstelveen . The food was great and the wine superb . Anuk was attentive and even assisted going the xtra mile in keeping a parcel for a pick up from a friend . Lx

Pros: Goat cheese salad with fig is amazing!
Steak is tender and the sauce is more french style than dutch style to me, rare but good.

Cons:
Grilled vegetable is a bit over cooked for me, people who likes soft food might like it a lot.

We ordered an iced coffee to star the morning and in the end we was told that iced coffee is 8.50 EUR because they put baileys in it. Other latte was just normal 3.60EUR. I guess they don’t have normal iced coffee….it would be nice to know the iced coffee has alcohol in it before we drink it.

Really nice place. Great atmosphere, great location at the water. We rented the boat with wine and snack service on board. They take you along the river past all the small cute villages. Back in the restaurant we had a room for our group upstairs with a grand round table that fitted probably 15 people. Fantastic atmosphere. Staff is super friendly and professional. Food is delicious and presented with great esthetic care. Highly recommended! The only qualms I'd have is that it's located at a location that's not so easy to reach by public transportation, although that turned out to be much less far than appeared on Google maps.

Even though the terrace isn't open in the lockdown, there is a nice deck by the river that you can sit on and enjoy the sun

Excellent food, service, and outside seating with great views.

Nice, slightly upscale place in a classic setting by the canal. Rent a boat to get there and enjoy a the traditional Menu.

One of the best restaurants we have been in Netherlands. Everyone was very happy with the meals. Perfect service from Quint.

Very good experience. Nice variations on the menu. We had the veal ragout pastry, fondue and poached eggs. The service is excellent and very attentive without 'American friendlyness' true service champions. The location is great, right at the water,lots to see. If you are looking for a cheap meal, don't go here. If you are looking for excellent value for money: this is the place. It's not as expensive as some of the places around, but I would argue the quality is the same or better. Leaves me to try and convince I'm not a Chinese bot to promote the place 😀

Overall very good experience, the only thing is that we had to wait 40min for our food, but it was worth it. All three dishes were very good (half of the chicken with mushroom sauce, seabass fillet with veggie (just great!) and hamburger). Nice view on the Amstel well accompanied tasting experience

Good food, good coffee by the river .... 30 mins bike ride from Amsterdam

Absolutely top class restaurant situated on the bank of the River Amstel. As the weather was great, we sat outside for our lunch. I had the truffle risotto with watercress and parmesan foam which was superb. That was followed by lemon meringue pie and raspberry sorbet, which I could eat every day!

One of our favourite restaurants. Food is always top quality. Staff incredibly nice. All very good with children.

We had the most amazing dinner in a stunning setting, it has been refurbished in excellent style. I would definitely recommend for diners looking for a destination spot, a short drive away from Amsterdam.

Luxuous venue with a terrace along the water canal Amstel. Accurate service provided by friendly staff. Price of preferred light food is challenging given the reputation of the wellknown Brassery. Excellent taste & quality pays off.
