Radisson Hotel & Suites Amsterdam South

What a wonderful hotel, with nice rooms. (we had one Studio suite and one 2 bedroom Suite) Prices are very fair compared to hotels closer to the centre of Amsterdam. I have to say: We were by car, so no clue if it's easy to get to Amsterdam centre by public transport. Clean rooms, pets welcome, hotel parking (as from 16 EUR p/day) and most importantly VERY VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY STAFF!

I had an amazing experience!! The staff were extremely friendly and the facilities were really nice. They have a massive pool table in the restaurant area which was really fun. The apartment had everything needed and the location was nice and quiet but easy to access Amsterdam Central.

My partner & I stayed here twice over the spring, and both times we were checked-in by Omar. He was always incredibly professional and kept a smile on his face. I always see if I can request a particular location room at check-in (e.g. highest floor), to which he was very accommodating and took the time to [re]allocate us a room that best fit what we were hoping for. When we returned the second time, after asking what brings us back, he showed a genuine interest in our travel plans (we were backpacking around Europe), which made me feel like a valued guest as opposed to just another number. Thank you Omar for being so genuine. On our second night, I realised that the rooms on the opposite side of the hotel actually had a view Amsterdam Zuid — which is stunning at night — and desperately wanted to switch. Originally, I thought you could only observe this view from the corridor (although disappointingly, the view from the rooms is obstructed due to the unwise ‘design’ of the hotel’s exterior). Nonetheless, I wholly recommend our Room 901 for this view, though I believe 902-910 also offer this view. I went down in the morning and the two staff members around reception all tried their best to pull the strings needed to move us. This included having to check with a supervisor elsewhere, showing just how much effort they put in to make it happen. Experiencing this view was so important to me, so thank you guys for not just telling me a room change isn’t possible. I’m concerned to read many reviews about deposits not being returned in a timely manner or even ever, and Radisson not responding to emails… so I hope this is something they look into because it’s not very reassuring. Apart from that, we would love to return in the future. Thanks again all.

Despite an issue with overbooking and many upset patrons, the staff was calm and helpful. Going above and beyond to help stranded travelers. I would stay again if I ever find myself in Amsterdam again.

It was such a lovely place to stay the rooms very modern and superclean, great staff.

Nice hotel, big modern rooms, good beds, people at the reception are helpful. The place is quiet, with canals and fields all around the place, many birds, rabbits, trees and flowers, perfect for walking and running. The only weak point for me is quality of breakfast (not quantity) particularly bread and the waiters.

For me, this is the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Amsterdam. Although the location isn’t amazing, the staff are very friendly, the hotel is very nice, and the gym is exceptional for a hotel.

Although the hotel location is a bit secluded ( right at the end of the road) , everything else that the hotel has to offer is best. Very impressive restaurant, with eye to detail decor; unique styles, and amazing breakfast spread. Rooms are modern, complete with amenities, and service is top-notch.

This hotel made sure that we were taken care of in every way, but given the privacy and peace that we were hoping for. From the friendliness and helpfulness of each staff member to the attention to cleanliness, this random Radisson in the Amstelveen area was the best hotel that my wife and I have ever stayed at in our ten years of travel together. Even the breakfast was top notch, with a full hot buffet and made to order anything and everything. Can't wait to come back here ASAP.

Our second time staying at this hotel and both times we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very beautiful and the interior is really impressive.

The staff are all very friendly and attentive to the guests. They always end a conversation by thanking you or wishing you a great day. These small gestures make a big difference and creates an addition to the stay.

The restaurant was also very cozy and the breakfast was good. I missed a bit of variety in the buffet options if I compare to other hotels we’ve been to but it was still good!

The room was really nice and had a kitchen with everything you need and could think of. And the chrome cast option for streaming Netflix and other apps sealed the deal for me.

And there is a gym for my fellow workout lovers:-)

A great place, great location with good vibes all round. Very good value as well for the area

We had a great stay at the Radisson South. The building is well maintained and the room was well layer out. We had excellent service from all staff and in particular from Emanuel in the restaurant. The suites have a kitchen in them which we used to cook a meal - but I forgot to get butter. There isn't any close grocery stores around but Emanuel was able to help me out without it seeming like a bizarre request (even though it definitely is).
While it isn't a great location for public transit we did appreciate the quiet calmness of the area and if you had a car or a bike it would be a huge bonus.

Absolutely delightful stay.Checking in and out was easy, the staff was very warm and kind, room was perfect with a fully functional kitchenette, nice big comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Also, the hotel is located around a beautiful stream and it was so soothing to even walk by the reception.We ended up ordering room service which was delivered in under 10 minutes and the pasta was delicious.Overall, 10/10, will recommend.

Such a beautiful hotel with amazing rooms. The perfect bed to fall asleep in at the end of the day. Warm tasty breakfasts served by friendly attentive staff. Informative desk staff with plenty of tips and advice. Situated in a perfectly quiet neighbourhood. Only 10 minutes walk to the tram station and 10 minutes on the metro and you're In centraal Station. Will be returning in April for King's day... I very strongly recommend this hotel.

The best service apartment/Hotel I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at.
Gorgeous building and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in.

High-quality rooms extremely clean with all requisite facilities and with a
a great location like a supermarket, shops, restaurants, and bars and
Traim stations are within walking distance.

Staff is extremely helpful and very friendly, accommodation is in impeccable condition, fitness room is well equipped, breakfast buffet was delicious and had gluten free options available, families are welcome, dinner service at the restaurant was amazing, too! Good place to stay with family, A park is behind the Hotel and you can have a walk around, ground floor has a restaurant, 1 and 4th floor have Laundry room but you have to bring washing powder.

What an amazing stay for the price paid. This hotel is brand new and you can see it from everything. The staff is amazing, helpful and patient. The rooms and mini apartments seemed really nice and clean to my friends and me. I loved the free water at the entrance and little self service mini Market at the reception. The breakfast was delicious and rich. There is even a chef that can make you omelettes or other morning recipes. Parking is 15 euros. I would go again.

Very nice venue and a good place for us to get acclimatized to the NL way of life
