For me, it is a must-go bookstore. Those who are looking for 2nd hand book but still in an excellent condition, let you try to get here. I found mine.

Went there with my girl friend on a one day getaway and the selection of English books is wonderful. The service was so nice and the packaging for gifts was of the highest quality. Truly beautiful experience

Awesome collection of books! New as well as old! I love to spend time in this place. Especially the history section. I found some second hand books which are really hard to find and costs tons of money. Worth a visit for all book lovers! :)

This is my favourite book store in town! They have a huge collection of books, even in multiple languages. The store itself is cozy, with a nice place to sit. They also sell pens, notebooks, etc. The top two floors are filled with second hand books. A found some real gems there. The prices range from average to expensive. The employees are kind and knowledgeable.

Nice local bookstore that inspires to reading. Third floor has a large selection of used books. Second floor has Enschede's largest selection of classical and art music. User friendly website where you can order almost any book in any language and pick it up in the store a few days later. Staff is friendly an knowledge. The guy at the music department has given me a couple of tips of hidden treasures in the assortment.

For me Broekhuis has always been my ' go to' bookstore. And yes I am aware of the enormous book offerings online, but I am inclined to visit this real life store because I know I can find what I am looking for here in books, gifts and expertise in background information. Love spending time here and browse...and well expand my book collection ofcourse 🥰😉

Nice bookshop! You can find everything here from candles, to different styles of literature to Art magazines. The shop has several floors, each designated for a different domain. You can find music floor, and crestive gifts like cards. Besides, the last floor has old books, maps all for an accessible price.

Modern bookstore, with a large collection of books in both Dutch and English. Also has two floors of secondhand books. Friendly, helpfull staff. Anything they don't have, they can usually order, as the store is part of a large network of stores and warehouse. I always spend way, way more time here than planned!

Nice bookstore and probably the oldest in Enschede. They have a proper selection of English books. On the second floor there's a cd/lp shop that seems to be geared at classical music. On the third floor you can get 2nd hand books.

Simply brilliant - great selection of books new & second hand as well add CDs and some vinyl. And you can have a tea or coffee while browsing or trying CDs.

They didn't have the book I was looking for so they ordered and and texted me a few days later when it arrived. Staff was friendly and helpful. I will be back no doubt.
