The forest is calling!

The best camping retreat experience I ever had! We were living in a cabin for two and had the most amazing time:) I was really impressed by all the warm details all over the camping spot. Share living area greenhouse really won our hearts with it's design and always catching sun. Bathrooms and showers were very clean and breakfast was very tasty and no way leaving anyone hungry!

So thank you for the amazing stay! Will be coming back for sure!

The staff and owner were also extremely friendly and happy to answer all the questions and even gave a ride while catching the bus back home

The perfect place for family camping. Friendly atmosphere and many tourist attractions also for children. I would highly recommend!

This place is amazing. We rented a couple of cabins for a long weekend and it was literally our favorite part of our month long trip to the Netherlands and France this summer.

Very quiet and peaceful. The breakfast that is delivered in the morning is amazing. Easy access to local bike trails, even for mtn biking. Nice little firepits with wood provided. The kitchens were perfect.

The bathrooms/showers were very clean.

We'll definitely return when we visit our children again.

Amazing campsite and friendly hosts! We had an amazing time by The Forest is Calling camping with our campervan, we made use of the common areas as well as the possibility to make warm campfires. If you are in the area, we highly suggest to stop by for a short (or longer) stay!

Spent 2 weeks cycling the Netherlands and this was my favourite campsite. I took a spontaneous rest day here.
Tasty breakfast options.. Tranquil and the staff and other guests I met here were amazing.

I would highly recommend a detour if only to stay here!

what a place! it's very fun, we pitched our tents where we wanted and we did the cooking in the great glass house where everybody wants to chill. The owner is very helping and tried to make our stay better. Showers are great, very clean.

We loved this spot! Tranquil, honest and very well looked after. Already planning next trip back!

Fantastic campsite in the forest. Totally immersed in nature yet all the facilities you need and more; chop your own wood, grab a fire pit, top quality sanitary facilities, a communal space with kitchen and wood stove- but at the same time keeping the small and cosy vibe and not overly commercialised. Everyone who works there is friendly and seems to love what they do.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this campsite. The pitches are spacious, and the facilities are top notch! The greenhouse was absolutely lovely and gave a real community feeling to the site. The staff are all very lovely and went the extra mile to ensure we enjoyed our stay. There are bikes to rent on site which is convenient, and campfires / wood for a small fee. The sanitary facilities are great, because they are all individual cabins (not just a barrier between a row of showers). The price was also very reasonable. We will definately be back!

What a wonderful spot!
The campsite lies wonderfully sheltered in the forest yet is open and roomy with no set pitches. The facilities are basic (what dor you really need?) and clean. A new toilet-shower block is being built and looks like it'll be good.
The shared shelter, in an old greenhouse, has a lovely wood burning stove, kitchen block, fridges and tea/coffee making facilities. Great for when the weather isn't good enough to sit outside or cook by the tent.
A great spot with great folk running the place, don't just drive/ride past if you're in the area...the forest is calling!

The staff were extremely friendly and all went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible! The site is absolutely beautiful, the facilities are amazing and we can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend :)

Great site for a relaxing retreat in the quiet nature with everything you need close by. MTB, beach and the 'wadden'

This is the best campsite I've ever stayed at. Set in a green field (very soft grass for tents!), surrounded by forests, it is a very beautiful and tranquil place. The facilities are very well designed- nice, clean toilet block with hot showers, and a fabulous common area in a giant greenhouse. The greenhouse was my favourite bit- it's got a woodstove, sofas, tables and chairs, and a kitchen, complete with induction stove, sink, kettle and coffee maker. Topped off with a fridge with cold beverages and an honesty bar! Honestly couldn't have dreamed of a nicer campsite. The owners were very friendly as well, and I wish them all the best for the future

This was the best camping we've visited during our two weeks of cycling in Holland. We loved its spacious camping area and had opportunity to find an isolated space for our tent. Its glass kitchen had a fridge with beer and ice cream, a coffee machine and coffee, and it offered the best ever breakfast choice with warm freshly baked bread and local cheese. Thanks and keep up the good work!

Great campsite! Facilities are amazing, kitchen is really cute and functional, showers super clean, all of that in the middle of the woods. Highly recommend

Very nice and lush camp-site with nice and cosy facilities. Breakfast could be bought the night before and was picked up in the morning. The freshly made bread was delicious!

very nice and cheap camping in the nature. The manager is super kind and friendly. there is the possibility of cooking in a green house which is very well furnished for the guests, and you can also order super good and local food for breakfast (bread, eggs, juice...). Loved it!!

A really excellent campsite with a new bathroom block and good facilities. There is an eco friendly air to the place and the staff were very helpful; the were able to give directions and help with places to swim on a super hot day.
I would definitely stay here again.
