Not the most well maintained place to stay, but honestly to the right person, it gives the park its rustic and lived in charm. Its not fancy, but highly atmospheric and calm. Truly a most recommendable place to camp out for tree huggers, hippies and all other sort of folk that love the outdoors. Its close to a proper and lovely village and many lovely forrestries. Delightfull and affordable!

Edit: Personally it's my favorite camp spot in the north because of this. I hate it when there's open clearings with perfectly trimmed hedges and grass and toilet buildings with glaring lights and music. This place feels like you're camping in a proper forrest and you can make it as glam or toned down as desired. People are relaxed and the weekend lake diners are just such a nice option to have there. It's one of those campings where it's beautiful even if it rains. Especially if it rains i'd say.

Such a fantastic campsite. You really feel like you’re in another world. Staff is very friendly and the sauna looking over the lake is like a fairytale. Sanitary is great, just don’t expect a 5 star hotel experience in the middle of the woods. There is no playground but the kids enjoyed themselves nevertheless. Definitely will return again.

After reading a few negative reviews I was sceptical about the campsite.
However it was fantastic.
I think the experience depends on the time and date.
The estate is pretty large.
My advice is call to check if there are any big groups, or parties going on during the planned dates.
----

Camping during the weekdays, one night with two small tents and a car.

The campsite was great, nice and quiet, enough place to set up the tents around the campfire.
The toilets are good and clean, with hot water (at our location).

Tip: bring your own firewood, as we got damp wood. It burnd ok, but not as good as dry wood. Also if you buy firewood there bring an axe to split the wood, the pieces are fairly big.

Generally,
A good nature camping experience(for the Netherlands), one can sleep around the campfire.

Tip for the owner:
Make a map of the estate, with clear markings.
Share on your site the situation at the camping ground, for example parties, groups, etc...

Paradise.

There should be more places like this one.

Best camping I ever stayed on, not like grass parking place. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, roomy lots, super nice and beautiful.

Great place to eat too: authentic (delish) Indian food and pizza.

Highly recommended.

The large scale of the camping is unique, having plenty of options to choose from the campsite provides multiple areas with several individual spots for your camper, tent, trailer, or hammock. The campsite is well equipped with facilities and must have items, like firewood and marshmallows can be purchased at the reception. Something that also caught the attention was that they offer warm dinner and breakfast options for quests as a take-away. This can be really enjoyable if you don't feel like prepping a meal after a long hike.

Definitely recommending to visit, if you are in the area, as well as when you are not and you want to make this your main destination, 100% worth it.

A beautiful campsite. All of the staff were so very helpful and polite. The woodland is spacious and, although there were a lot of people around, it never felt crowded or busy. Having the firepits at the pitches was really great. There is also little light pollution in the area so the stars on a clear night are incredible. An absolute gem of a campsite and we can't wait to go back.

Easy access and check in. A lot of spots to set the tent and can be very private. Surrounded by forest. The toilets and showers were clean and nice

We had an amazing weekend in the pipowagon 'escape'! It's a beautiful area in the middle of a forest. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There is enough to do in the vicinity as well! We recommend the wildlands zoo ;)

It's the best place to go and disconnect. I'd certainly go back even though I'm not the camping type of girl.
