A fantastically authentic restaurant on the island. Perfectly located near our campsite and was our go to place for a beer in the afternoon or a dinner when not wanting to cook.

Affordable food and very friendly staff! The atmosphere is great! Only down side is that you can not make a reservation in the busy summer period, so you need a little luck when going to dinner.

Otherwise great place!

This restaurant is one of the best on the island. Great people, with warm hearts serving delicious and fair priced food! We ordered in, got great fish, chicken and fries. The food was warm, the taste was amazing and the salad was yummy!! Fresh cranberry’s on top and very big portion. Worth it to go here!

If you come to Terschelling and don't visit this place you are missing out! Great place with a super atmosphere. The people are really friendly and we love coming here!

Wat een super eet café, dat blijkt ook wel hoe druk het hier is, super vriendelijk personeel, heerlijke drankjes, goeie uitgebreide menu kaart en ook nog eens een whisky kaart, wij gaan hier zeker nog een keer terug komen, oja zelfs de prijzen van alles valt reuze mee

Gezellig en sfeervol restaurant/Café met een prima kaart. Gerechten zijn eenvoudig maar smakelijk. Leuke spelletjes en een kleine attentie voor de kinderen. Mini minpuntje: 1 euro vragen voor een beetje extra saus is wat teveel vh goede maar dit valt in het niet bij de erg geslaagde lunch die we hier hebben genoten.

Sehr leckeres Essen (Gebackene Muscheln / Beefsteak).

Village in Terschelling, Netherlands

Formerum is a village on Terschelling in the province of Friesland, the Netherlands. It had a population of around 211 in January 2017. The Russian ship Oka 18 sank in 1966 near this village. Until recently her funnel could be seen rising out from the sea. The village boasts a smock mill, the Koffiemolen. It was the birthplace of the 16th century Dutch Arctic explorer Willem Barentsz. source
