Prachtige gebouw met in drukkende horizontale lijnen van Dudok, ontworpen vlak voor zijn beroemde stadhuis in Hilversum.

Revolutionair op technologische gebied was het waterpijp systeem in de betonconstructie om het gebouw koel te houden.

Het gebouw van de HAV Bank werd in 1931-1935 in opdracht van de Hollandse Algemeene Verzekeringsbank ontworpen door architect Dudok.
Het gebouw van de HAV Bank is ontworpen in een zakelijk expressionistische stijl.

In 1952 en 1952 zijn er uitbreidingen getekend door Dudok.
