We felt very well taken care of, and she/team ensured that we felt confident in our parenting abilities once the Kraamzorg period was over. I recommend her to anyone looking for this support post birth.

Jill has been amazing for us and the little one after a traumatic birth. She came in with all her positive energy and experience and taught us everything we should know for taking care of a newborn. Quite some issues with breastfeeding that she also helped us with. We really appreciated her dynamic character, discreet presence and sense of humor! Jill was AMAZING. During our intake, she helped us make sure we had everything we needed and even gave us advice on additional items to purchase, all of which came in handy!

After delivery, she came, no questions asked, in the late afternoon, which was HUGELY helpful. I had delivery complications and having someone help us settle in during the first hour of being home was invaluable.

For the remainder of the kraam week, she recruited her colleague Nona to support us. Nona was wonderful — she struck the perfect balance between being helpful and not overstaying. Jill and Nona even got us a night nanny one night (I desperately needed the extra sleep for my own recovery). By the end of the week, we felt like super capable parents, all thanks to Jill and Nona!

We had an incredible kraamweek with Jill and I cannot recommend her enough! Jill was kind, friendly, extremely knowledgeable and resourceful and an amazing support all around throughout the week. Even though this was our second baby, we learned a lot from her. She helped with everything around the house from taking care of me and our baby (incl. help with breastfeeding and baths) to cooking delicious food, to laundry and cleaning. She helped us transition into a family of four and found creative ways to also engage our toddler into the process. Big thanks for everything you’ve done for us!

Jill was a great support the first week postpartum for two first time parents. She spent the days teaching us all about newborn care, healing myself and breastfeeding. It was a very personalized plan and set us up with a great foundation. Highly recommended.

We had a really good experience with Jillz maternity care! Already at the intake meeting we got some useful tips and saw very flexible approach. After delivery, when being still in hospital Jillz gave some additional advice about the hospital stay and care. When we returned home Gabi, continued the care, she came on the same day late evening, supported with basic tips what to do during our first night at home with our baby boy. Next days were very relaxed when having Gabi - she took over all the house chores, prepared delicious breakfast, told us to go to sleep whenever possible, as we had difficult nights. She took care really well of our son, he was really calm and relaxed with her. We got many tips how to take care of newborn (my first baby), helped with breastfeeding and made me more secure with doing that and advised when to resign from formula milk, that was given to our baby in hospital. We could also prolong the care with 2 days without any issues.Thanks to Gabi I could regenerate after the delivery, she really took good care of us, also she brought very calm and relaxed atmosphere to house, we really appreciate that!

We had a great experience with Jill as a kraamzorg. The first week at home, being new parents, felts scary at the beginning but Jill helps you with everything regarding the baby and your recovery as a mother. Even preparing some meals and some basic housekeeping. She is caring and has a down to earth personality, and has vast knowledge about breastfeeding. She helped me a lot at the beginning with it and made sure I was in a good place with breastfeeding before she left! I really recommend her!

Giving birth in a pandemic with no family able to be here was really tough, but having Jill there in the first few days was our saving grace. Helping with baby. But also my 2.5 year old LOVED her. They played, went to the shops to get mum breastfeeding essentials and just kept him entertained while I was with baby. Such an easy going gal and so easy to immediately have a great connection with during those first emotional days. 💓💓

With Jill ensured we were prepared and made us feel so secure that we would be well cared for. Gabie looked after us so well in our first week together as a family. It made for such a calm and happy week. She is professional, personal and so lovely to have around. They take a natural approach, observing and helping when needed - really getting to know how you and your baby fit together. We would recommend that anyone looking for a great kramzorg look no further than Jillz.

We have had Jill as our kraamzorg with both our children and it was such a pleasure to have her back! For us, having Jill feels like having family, a big sister coming to help out and be there for what is needed at that moment. She helps with the household, the oldest toddler, the baby (offcourse 😉) but also with us, helps us to think of ways to sleep better, feel better etc. She focusses on what is important for the family and is very involved. Definitely recommend Jill and we miss her! We would almost have a third one just to have her back 😝😉

We had the opportunity to meet all three caretakers and they are all super nice. We noticed they all three have their own qualities so personally I think you will always find a good match meeting the needs of your family when choosing Jillz Kraamzorg. The most memorable for me was how I felt lost on the third day after being released from the hospital. My baby did not want to eat and he lost more and more energy throughout the night. I called the midwife, but didn’t become any wiser. I waited for Jill to come in and within a matter of minutes she had him fully energized and fed. From being too busy to feed or even shower myself I became a person who has time to relax and watch tv in a few days. I definitely recommend Jillz Kraamzorg especially if this is your first baby and you have no idea where to begin. Good luck with your own journey!

Signing up with Jillz was a great decision! Jill was on holiday and Gabbie who came instead was amazing! We couldn’t have hoped for a better kraamzorg.
We are first time, anxious parents who had little knowledge of how to care for a newborn which Gabbie eased us into.
My daughter was born just before Christmas and Gabbie was there both days of Christmas with us caring for our baby.
By day 3, my husband, Gabbie and I were a team working together to get my daughter upto speed with her growth stats and milestones and by the time it was time for Gabbie to leave, she had taught us everything we needed to “survive” with a newborn!
She even arranged for a night nanny twice in the week which was great for us sleepless and clueless parents!
It’s now been over 3 weeks and we feel sufficiently equipped to handle the little one and we still consult with Gabbie if we have any “panic moments” and she’s gladly obliged on message. She became such a part of our family in that week and we shared tears, treats and tales with each other.
The paper work was next to nothing and hassle free.
8 days of kraamzorg time is too little! :( I wish it was Kraam maand instead of kraamweek! I guess it will always be an emotional and difficult goodbye to the kraamzorg but definitely the best part about having a baby in the Netherlands and I only have positive things to say about Jillz as an organization and Gabbie specifically.
I would highly recommend them.

Michaela is a DREAM Kraamzorg! We had such an incredible experience – as first-time parents – having her come help us each day, setting up our schedule with the baby, tips and tricks, even lactation help. Her assistance was paramount to our confidence as parents. Whether it’s baby’s first bath, breastfeeding positions, or just folding our laundry, Michaela was willing and eager to help in anyway she could. We miss her already and are so glad she was involved in our son’s first week!

Ashley and Jill have helped us so much in our first week with our second child. To find the balance in recovery, much needed rest and caring for our daughter. Also super helpful with cooking and things around the house to make it easier for us. Many thanks Ashley!

As two expats living away from family, Jill's team was the next best thing. Our care was shared between Ashley and Michaëla, who was also present at our unexpected home birth, and whom I've missed every day since she's left us. They were both incredibly knowledgeable and answered my 10000 questions without making me feel crazy. For the week they were here, they took care of my newborn, made sure I was recovering, that my husband was resting, light house cleaning, laundry, grocery pick up the few times we didn't make it out, and cooked incredible food. More importantly, I felt safe, heard, encouraged and nurtured. You can tell they love what they do because they really pour their hearts into it. It was everything we needed to start this next chapter as a family.

Fantastic care recieved from Gabie, who is one out of 4 of Jillz Kraamzorg. She was friendly extremely helpful, with the baby, our toddler and helping with the household. She tried to fulfill all our needs. Our baby got a little temperature raise after she left on day 8. I contacten her What to do and she was super in advices and commitment. Thanks a lot!!

These ladies are an amazing help. I had Gabby as my kramzorg and couldn’t be more grateful to her for getting my husband and I on the right track with our first child. She is happy to do anything to help and provides really great tips and tricks which we wouldn’t have known on our own. Most importantly she encouraged me as a mom to “trust my mama feeling” and instilled confidence in me as a first time mother. They were also extremely reliable in terms of timing and communication.
