I visited on the Monument Open Day so you could climb part way up the church tower. There were knowledgeable guides who explained the history of this fantastic neo gothic building. The architect of the church was Pierre Cuypers, who also designed Amsterdam Centraal Station and the Rijksmuseum.

Beautiful, old church next to the water. The cemetery is very nice. Definitely worth a visit.

The local church in Bovenkerk Amstelveen that has recently been renovated. The church has a long history and it is the historical icon of this area.

Geweldig mooie kerk van binnen. Echt de moeite waard om eens een bezoek te brengen. Er is het optreden van het gemengde koor ACOV uit Aalsmeer met de Johannuspassion van Bach. Dit, ivm de paasviering waarbij het lijden en sterven van Jezus Christus centraal staan. Ik ga echt genieten straks! Gegroet xxx.

Mooie en zeer unieke kerk. Vanuit het omliggende bos mooi te zien, ik hoop dat de wederopbouw goed gaat.
