Damso Korean Restaurant

Recommended for great Korean food. We tried different dishes, such as korean bbq, fried chicken, dumplings and noodles with black bean sausage- all were delicious. They also bring some pickles as complementary, including kimchi. Service was good and staff were welcoming. Kid friendly and convenient for families.

The food was amazing! I highly recommend the dumplings and the garlic butter fried chicken. The staff were friendly and explained the dishes well, the restaurant is also quite cozy.

Absolutely loved the kimchi jigae here! It hit the spot perfectly for my soupy and spicy cravings. The soup was packed with flavor and had a generous amount of pork which added depth to every spoonful. Highly recommend stopping by!

Just had an incredible dining experience at Damso Korean Restaurant in Amstelveen! The food is beyond delicious. We tried their Bulgogi, Yang Yum Chicken, Pajeon (Korean Seafood Pancake) and the Tja Djang Myun (Noodles in Black Bean Sauce) - all were a flavor explosion. The interior is simple but super cozy and clean, giving off a great vibe. It's a family restaurant, and the owners are so friendly; it feels like you're having a meal at their home. The unique Korean drinks add a special touch. Plus, the Banchan that comes with the dishes completes the experience perfectly. Highly recommend this spot to everyone. A must try for sure!

From the most friendly and helpful staff, to the tastiest food, this place has become the first go-to restaurant for korean food for me and my fiancé.

We have tried so far the delicious crab pancakes, the tastiest fried chicken (garlic butter, honey soy, and yang yum), and the drool worthy He Mul Tok Pokki.
The portions are generous, and the taste authentic.

We had already tried korean food in other restaurants, but once we had visited this one it was so good that we went back for more the week just after it and will probably be going there frequently.

Super nice restaurant! Very cozy and the service was excellent. Food was simply a 10/10! Loved the Yam Yam Chicken a lot. Definitely the best Korean restaurant I have been to!

Loved the food!! After being so used to this kind of food when I lived in South Korea I really am missing it 😥 But eating here was a trip down memory lane it tasted exactly like I remembered. It was heavenly, and I would definitely recommend this to anyone that wants to get a taste of real authentic Korean food but can't go to Korea.

5 stars for having the most spiciest food we managed to find in Holland. (We tried every place bragging to have very spicy food in Amsterdam).

Ever since eating in Korea I've had cravings for genuine Korean cuisine. Damso is as real as it gets and a real saviour when it comes to the wish for Korean food in the Netherlands.

Absolutely amazing food! If you grew up eating Korean food this place will not fail to impress. This place has been my favorite place since the first time I tried their food. Did you know even Blackpink the band ordered from them 😳. No joke! Totally recommend and guaranteed to impress you.

Delicious! Great place to get Korean food! Bugolgi pork was delightful - sweet and slightly spicy. Beef Bim bap was great too, so fresh and nice! Yum!

Great Korean restaurant!
There are few Korean restaurants in the Netherlands and even less who are as good as this one. The dishes are all very tasty. Even though I don't live close to this restaurant I think it's worth the 1 hour travel just to go there for dinner.

The chicken was really lekker and the owner was so nice. I really enjoyed my dinner :) I recommend this place !! The best chicken so far

Went out for dinner last week for my birthday.
I have been to Damso many times before and I can’t get enough of their food!

We’re all a little stubborn and don’t try a lot of new food when we are there, we just order what we know is amazing;

Kimchi pancake, a pancake made out of, well, kimchi! And served with a soy sauce based sauce. A very nice appetizer to start out with.

Bi Bim Bap, a rice dish with beef, mushrooms, vegetables and gochujang. I loved it so much the first time i was there that i started to make it at home! Highly recommend it.

Pork bulgogi, spicy marinated pork served with onions. The flavors in this dish are amazing, i love to eat it with my Bi Bim Bap, or a side of white rice.

The staff and customers are always friendly, and the food doesn’t take too long to reach the table.

My only critique is that I prefer the previous interior, but I can see why they went for a more modern look.

Conclusion, I highly recommend going to Damso, they have great food and quick service.
