A wonderful local bar-restaurant, overlooking the church and a stone throw away from lake and forest area. Spacious terrace and cosy interior. Good selection of drinks, and great snack platters.

Went there to have dinner with colleagues. Staff was kind and the restaurant has a nice vibe. The highlight was the vegetarian sate; it was a nice portion with fries and the sate was very tasty.

Service may take a bit longer due to crowd , but the staff try hard to serve all they best they can

Iconic Restaurant on the edge of the Amsterdam forest. Came here after a walk to get something to drink. We got some hot chocolate milk & shared a delicious cheesecake which I can highly recommend. Will come back some day for a proper dinner!

Been coming for years when we visit. Food is good, the service this time seem a touch impersonal, but still fine. outdoor seating was good.

Lovely cosy dark bar with great food. Came over from the EuroParcs as it was close by and not disappointed

I can sense that the experience in and out of the place is different. Outdoor sitting was nice, polite staff. And considering I ordered a smoked salmon salad, no surprise on the velocity of the preparation. Dear chef, thanks, less onion maybe next time?
This is directed to the manager/owner: I do think one paper napkin is a bit under-doing it. I suggest 2 napkins with the fork and the knife; considering how busy your waiters are, it is not always easy to call them and ask for just an extra napkin.

Great food with nice ambience. Only issue is that you cannot pay individually when you go as a group

This is a great neighborhood cafe for some casual drinks and really nice food.
The salads and their burgers are very good and so are their spare ribs.
One of the best things about this place is the fact they keep their price reasonable and don’t raise it often.

I had a lets phraze it, a little accident in my dish, but the staff fixed it and they were very cool about it.
In general food was very good, fries were amazing.
I recomment the skewers I believe they are called.
Tuna salad was not the best choice, but still good.
Overall, very nice place to go with the family for eating.
The view from the place is also nice.

Very nice place. Sunny terrace. Perfect View to church and park. Food and beer are good and tasty. service also nice and quick.

They serve really fresh, lekker salads and fries! The burgers are quite nice as well. Best part is the open area where you can enjoy a beer looking towards the beautiful Amsterdamse Bos!

Best saté in the Netherlands. All food was tip top and we had exceptional service.

Nice terrace for a spring or summer sit down. A good destination after a long walk in the Amsterdamse Bos or around the Amstelveen Poel. A couple of good vegetarian options. Very relaxing place to meet with friends.
