Overnachten onder de Lange Jaap

The room was absolutely fine for our needs - super cozy, impeccably clean, equipped with everything you could need, including coffee machine, complimentary coffee and tea. We did not have a private bathroom but we had a great view of the Lange Jaap Lighthouse. The bathroom was shared with just one more room and was also very clean, all bathroom amenities in place.

Our landlord was super friendly, gave us directions to all the places we wanted to see, dining options, etc.

The house itself is a bit far from Den Helder centre but it’s in Huisduinen which is probably the best part of the city. If you don’t have a car, it would be a 15-min walk from the bus station. It’s actually a lovely walk, even the longer walk to the ferry was a super nice experience. Den Helder is just a 15-min ferry ride from the island of Texel and totally worth it.

Overall, a very good experience and we are definitely going back there again.

Schön und ruhig gelegen am Stadtrand von Den Helder, nahe des Leuchtturms. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber, das Zimmer großzügig mit viel Platz. Es gibt Gläser, Geschirr und Besteck, sodass man sich selbst kleine Mahlzeiten zubereiten kann. Das Gemeinschaftsbad ist modern und sehr sauber. Uns hat es dort sehr gut gefallen.

Mooie kamer, lekker bed. Op de kamer magnetron en koffie/thee aanwezig. Mooie badkamer op de gang welke je deelt met de andere kamers. Helaas moesten wij na 1 nachtje door privé-omstandigheden, anders hadden wij nog een nachtje genoten onde de Lange Jaap.

Een heerlijk schone kamer op een hele leuke locatie. Vanuit je raam zie je de Lange Jaap. Unieke locatie. Eigenaar is erg vriendelijk
