Nogal Wiedus

What a great location: this restaurant sits on the top of a dike - the large windows allow for an undisturbed view of the ocean, the setting of the sun etc. There’s also a small terrace, where you’ll be able to enjoy the same view while being protected from the wind. The staff is very friendly and speaks English fluently. The dishes are delicious and the atmosphere inside the restaurant great! Definetely a place you want to go to to have good food, a wonderful view, friendly staff and the opportunity to have a short digestive walk on the top of the dike afterwards! 😉

I went there for lunch and do some work on my computer with a nice view at the same time!
Fantastic restaurant.
I have a gluten allergy and they told me exactly what I could have from the menu and what could be adapted for me.
They have at least gluten free bread, I had the carpaccio with gluten free bread.

Thank you for staying open for us after 10 pm. We know the kitchen was closed but you still managed to bring out some great warm snacks, awesome drinks, and sweet tasty desserts.

Beach front dining and awesome service make this place a winner. We rode our bikes from the train station past the light house and even the light rain didn’t ruin the mood.

Right on the sea, I Can imagine it would be nice to sit outside on a good day!

I forgot to take a picture but as a appetizer/starter I had beef tataki with soy sauce and main course was tender steak with soy sauce originally with Bali sauce which is a sweet and slightly spicy sauce. And as a desert I had dame blanche. My husband (we're married on 08.08.2023) also the beef tataki and his main was fish and chips which where outstanding as well. The dame blanche my husband and I shared.

Very beautiful place to have lunch by the sea. We sat on the terrace and the view is stunning. We ordered the Beach burger and the soup menu. It was delicious and satisfying. The waiter is very attentive to us and speak really good English. I highly recommend this place.

It was almost "Wauuu." The food and presentation was really good and servise. But soup was served warm like a body. That's why only 4 stars 🌟 for my impression

Great restaurant bar with good food and a awesome view. They have several tables on the terrace with ocean view. They are quite in favour, so be quick. Recommended to order the '12 uurtje'. You can park close by on the parking of the fortress Kijkduin. It's located next to the light house.

Proper service is hard to find in the Netherlands, we all know the waitresses that look down when passing you to not give service.
Well: not here !

Very friendly service with Covid measures in place. Drinks and (preordered) food available from a counter outside, served by mask wearing staff. Coffee is among the best I have tasted!

Very nice service, great view with the terrace!

I've so far spent over two years in the Netherlands and this is one of the nicest places i've eaten at.

It is situated on a small hill overlooking the beach right next to the old fort museum.

Expect to be served very quickly so no irritating waiting.

I highly recommend the iced hazelnut coffee and the carpaccio. They also source their bread from a local bakery and believe me when i say it is some of the best bread i've ever eaten.

Great foods with fantastic views

Big portion and tasty fish and chips. Dogs are allowed, and there is water for them near the front entrance.

Credit cards and Apple Pay are accepted.

Great view. Food is delicious. Service is excellent. Prices are reasonable.
