Spa anyone? Awesome variety of facilities, sauna's, treatments, and more! Very worth a while to visit and even more to spend a weekend! We had the suite (it's HUGE) and the hotstone & Hammam treatments: the staff was über polite, professional, friendly, and fun!
It will get pricey if you eat/drink here, however, it's worth the investment! Great food and selection!
In general the majority of the visitors are about 35+, it can get busy at times but it doesn't dampen the experience.
Will we return? YES!!!!

Amazing sauna and experience! Never felt more relaxed ever before, staff is really friendly and helpful with any questions. Rooms are clean and cozy, food was great at the restaurants. Overall 10/10 experience

My favourite place to relax. I always book with Chef’s arrangement and I love to be able to finish my day at spa with a good salad meal.

Very nice spa. The ambiance is really cool in the Fort and everything is clean and tidy. Even though it was Christmas holiday it wasn't extremely busy. Specially during the morning it was still rather quiet. The floating bath is amazing. We couldn't make the infrared sauna work but might have been us. All other sauna's very warm and diversely. The little island on the other side is a very cool spot to go to as well and not many people go there it looked like.
Definitely will come back and recommended to go to.

Literally the best spa we have been in our lives! From the indoor & outdoor facilities, to the massages and overall service.
The hotel and restaurant are also great: big rooms and bathroom, cute terrace; breakfast, food & wine were incredible.

Easily the best spa I have been to in the Netherlands. It’s a bit more costly than your average spa, but the quality and ambiance are like nothing else in the country. So many different saunas and baths it’s almost a challenge to enter them all! Don’t forget to pop in the restaurant for some tasty finger food and top class smoothies

Awesome historical old fort is a perfect setup to build different treatments in the area. We really enjoyed all different saunas with my wife. Warm enough, sort of Finnish style. Even on the small island we could find a jungle sauna with a swing. A very funny detail.
Everyone is wearing their birthday suit! 😊 restaurant was good, nothing really superb but we were more interested to chill for a day and enjoy gin tonics and bathing. It seemed very busy but because the area is large enough, it didn’t bother at all.
Nice and friendly staff. Will definitely visit again and maybe even stay over night in the hotel…

Several saunas, the wellness department was excellent. The restaurant serves excellent food at a reasonable price and the staff are ever so kind. We had a sport massage as well as a hot stone massage. Excellent. We will be back next holiday.

This review is specifically for the spa/wellness. Wow! My husband wanted to come here and I am so glad he suggested it. The spa features no less than 8 saunas (eg. Infrared, wet sauna, dry sauna, panoramic sauna), my favourite being what I call a "curated hot sauna experience", run by a Sauna Master. It also features hot and cold pools, foot baths, a salt scrub area, a relaxation/rest area, a reclining warm pool, and my husband's favorite - a float pool with high salt content. It even has a fancy shower that mimics being in a thunderstorm. We initially thought that the amenities were only outdoor and were happy with that, and then discovered all the indoor amenities as well. Entry is discounted in the evening after 5pm (30 Euros per person) and you can stay until close (I believe 11pm). There is plenty here to keep you busy. If I lived in the Netherlands, I would be a frequent visitor. Also note that this is a nude, mixed sex spa. I found everyone very respectful, but there is a mandatory bathing suit day once per month if you'd prefer.

My favorite sauna! If I could allow myself I would go there once a week.. the place is clean and relaxing. The restaurant have alot of options i am missing more badkleding dagen… a-lot of people are not comfortable being naked all day.

We visit this Spa regularly. Location wise it is realy nice. We like this place since it is big enough to be able to provide high level services (treatments, restaurant and many sauna's) but small enough to keep it cosy. We realy like the atmosphere and easiness of the kind of people visiting this location. Other places tend to have a high "look at me" attitude. Whereas at Fort Beemster it is more respect and kindness, realy relaxing!
They could do more explaining the visitors about the energy saving, water reussage and other environmental technics they implemented behind the scenes in order to provide this relaxing atmosphere. Especially nowadays it is nice to know that your footprint on such a relaxing day is even brought back to minimums....

Fantastic Spa! All kinds of sauna's, massages, tubs, and other facilities. Not for those that do not like to be naked
Room was great! The shower was a nice rain type. It is made in a fort, which makes it have a nice atmosphere. But very modern and up to date furniture.
Food was good. Nothing real haute cuisine, but you.see they try! Which is great. Especially for the price.
Breakfast was small, but good.
Very secluded in between the fields. Very nice and quiet. The view isn't fantastic, especially for longer stays, this might get a bit boring. You would have to travel to get somewhere. There are great walks possible however.
Price is fairly high, but if you get a deluxe package it is quite worthy.

Great spa to hit the pause button! Beautiful surroundings like the Bali island with a little beach and jungle saune, as well as a lot of cozy saunas, like a wood oven sauna and salt rock sauna, along with pools, relax rooms and a restaurant.

Amazing compact sauna park with plenty to do, an excellent kitchen and amazing staff. Had the Hamam treatment as well which was great as well. Effortless check-in, clean, well maintained, good atmosphere. Overall best sauna in the area!

My review is ONLY for the spa experience. It’s really impressive sightseeing location, so next time I will try to explore a bit. We are expats living in Amsterdam, and we didn’t know cultural experience of being naked, so imagine our surprise! I am happy we didn’t know, we would have most likely canceled. Everything is clean and you have multiple options for swimming, massages and saunas.
Every first Tuesday of the month is non-naked experience, if you don’t want to expose yourself 😅

Since I discovered the Fort Beemster several years ago I only go there.
The location is beautiful, everything is made for relaxation and the service is perfect.
I highly recommend to stay at least one night to really enjoy all the saunas and pools. But one day there is already amazing :)

An amazing hotel and spa! The cleaning happens very carefully and with consideration. Everything is clean and able to be used properly. The staff are very welcoming and the rooms are just the best. The food is marvellous and unlike anything ive had before. I highly recommend going here for an easy and enjoyable weekend.

We had an amazing evening at the Spa. It was super quiet, very relaxing there is a variety of amazing sauna‘s and swimming pools. The restaurant was amazing, way beyond what we expected from the typical spa food. Nice service on top of that, we‘ll be back for sure!
