Buitencentrum Schoorlse Duinen

This is a really nice starting point for multiple hikes. The landscape is really diverse, from forest to sanddunes and the sea. I walked the purple route, and I can't recommend it enough!

Such a beautiful place to go. Really a unique dune landscape with a really good variety of hiking routes. Make sure to climb the long stairs for an amazing view for Dutch standards. The blue hiking route is one I can recommend.

Mate, the best place in the netherlands! I love nature, especially hills and this is the place for it. After a hike you can drive for 20mins to bergen aan zee and have a nice lunch.

A great location to hike in the Dutch nature. The location has different views. You can hike here all season.

You can hike different routes with options in distances. At the Duin Centrum you can find more information regarding the routes. And which colour you have to follow. Keep in mind to plan your route (choose a colour), because at certain places you won't have signal on your phone.

Always carry a water bottle with you when going on a hike. At the Duin Centrum you can refill your bottle for free. There are also toilets available.

As for parking, there are many parking spots available in the neighbourhood.

Well signposted, friendly staff in visitor centre, lovely lovely nature.

A lot of great and diverse walks in nature, mostly forest and dune landscapes. Absolutely worth going and spend half or even a full day there. The purple and green walks are nice (11 and 12km) for a few hour walks. Easy access and parking of cars next door.

This is one of the most beautiful places in the Netherlands, a lush combination of vegetation and dune's create a wonderful scenery at any moment of the day. The visitor center it self is a nice accommodation to get refreshed and a cold drink. Nature takes the headline here.

Beautiful area with several color coded routes to follow. Longer routes of 10 tot 15 km but also 5 km and a 3.5 km route for those with small children. Aside from that a play area and dwarf route. In this centre you will find a toilet, a shop selling great "nature themed" gifts and a restaurant.

Good hiking but also bicycle roads there and we'll separated so you not going to be overrun when walking or have to brake a lot when you cycle. A lot of routes with different length. And a nice information center

Beatiful place for having a nice hike through dunes. There are some healthy altitude differences so pack lightly and go for it. Be aware that this place is visited by many people and therefore parking can be a problem. And there is paid parking, because of the business here I imagine.

This an excellent facility to start one of the many nature tours. There are more than 10 different routes through a very mix environment of forrest, dunes, heath, sand and shells, amazing views.
The building facilitates catering, expositions of staatsbosbeheer (government forrest control) and has inside seats and rooms, as well as outside seats.
It includes a playgarden and plenty of outdoor space.

Great place to spend a sunny day. Cafe serves delicious sandwiches. The area is great to walk in and also super for kids especially the kabouter trail .

Friendly staff, nice place to start a hike through the Dunes. I come here every time I'm walking through the Schoorlse Duinen.
