Lange Jaap Lighthouse

It's more beautiful from a distance than up close. Unfortunately, it was during the day, it's better to come in the evening. Fits beautifully into the landscape

Iconic place. It is an active lighthouse and considered one of the tallest traditional lighthouses of the world. Currently inaccessible inside for visitation because of safety reasons, but you can still see it from afar (or get closer).

A wonderful place to be! Such a serene place. And Lange Jaap, of course. One of the prettiest in my lighthouses collection :)

Definitely a place to bring the family to on off-days. Also considering you check out the seaside and horse range. It's all-around pretty and a healthy way to spend an hour or two.

Looked cool, but unfortunately we weren't able to go inside.

Beautiful location. The lighthouse is actually about 150 meters Inland and not in the beach

It's a very cozy little town for a weekend getaway. One hour of walking and you're on the north edge of the Netherlands mainland

Stunning lighthouse built in 1822. It is in a lovely location and, at 63.5 metres, it is one of the tallest traditional lighthouses in the world.

Pretty creepy and cool at the same time at night, especially when combined with a good view of the stars. Would be around again.

Good

Imposant. War noch nie drinnen, aber von außen lohnt es sich auch. Mit dem Auto oder Rad kann direkt davor gefahren werden. Prägt die Düne an dieser Stelle. Empfehlung: Sonnenuntergang von hier verfolgen. Der lange Jaap. Vuutoren.

Schöner, schon von weitem zu sehender Leuchtturm.
Der Lange Jaap ist mit 63m, der höchste gusseiserne LeuchtturmEuropas, aber leider nicht zu besichtigen.
Trotzdem ein Highlight in Huisduinen.
