Zoet of Zout

Wonderful food, great service, fabulous atmosphere. Fully accessible, indoor and outdoor seating. Staff very accomodating, kind enough to find me a menu in English, which was an added bonus. Had the Zoet of Zout seafood platter, which was a lovely mix of seafood from both salt and fresh water, and made for a great lunch.

Had a lovely lunch here on a Monday afternoon. Staff were so friendly (& extremely dog friendly!) The decor is very gezellig with great water views.

Food was tasty, extremely fresh and came in good time. Great beer too! Thoroughly recommend and would definitely return.

A very relaxing restaurant where you can have a delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner. Plenty of seating both inside and outside on the terrace where you can enjoy a breathtaking view. Had 2 meal salads (fish and meat) and they were delicious. Very friendly and hospitable staff and good value for money. Highly recommended!

Great view. Super nice location. Big selection im food, also vegan options. They are very childrenfriendly, they have a children play corner, bring color stuff for kids and even have 3 kids menus for a decent price. Decently worth going! In summer also nice playground just in front of the door.

Disregarding the fellow customers, this is an excellent place. The menu was great, with amazing items and great service, with a great view.

Great food. Vibrant atmosphere. Attentive staff. Black angus steak with goats cheese and truffle sauce was cooked perfectly (medium rare). Sharing platter for two was enough for the four of us. Primativo wine was excellent. Great dinner out. 🙂

Had a lovely relaxing afternoon. The staff were friendly and helpful. Had a lovely lunch before going round to see the seals, then back for a drink while the girls played in the sea.

This place is managed by professionals. Busy or not, service and food were great. I love the fact that you can order all dishes during lunch, also the main dinner courses.
Enough to choose but I love the 12 o'clock fish platter with home made fish soup, tuna burger and slice of bread with salmon salade.

Delicious food, great terrace outside. Definitely visit the sweet seals next door.

Wow beautiful location with an amazing view! My new favourite place 😁Great place to take kids, there is a big play area outside and terras so you can watch the kids play. The restaurant is top class, extremely comfortable and many seating options. The menu is very diverse and of course great choice of fish, burgers and meat. Even offer a wide range of vegetarian and vegan options.

Today, we were treated to lunch in this very attractive and welcoming restaurant. Service was very good and friendly. The food: uitsmijter spek, uitsmijter gezond with avocado and 🍅. My friends enjoyed the lunch, as I did. I ordered carpaccio with truffel mayo which was delicious although the brown bread was rather compact. Huis red merlot, very nice not too sweet or heavy. Prices were well thought out and we were pleasantly surprised with a bill under 50 euros, including drinks. Coffee was very nicely presented. Nice surroundings outside. All in all, recommended for a lovely lunch.

Wow and great… we had the ‘Twaalf uurtje fish’ which consisted of a bowl of fish soup, a croquette and a mini burger with shrimp salad.
The fish burger was fresh, tasty and just the right size. The croquette was run of the mill, nothing special… But let’s talk about the soup! OMG delicious and I could have dived into a bucket of it! Just the right texture, just the correct richness and depth of flavor, and filled with fish, shrimps etc. Served with a slice of fresh crusty bread, it was as close to perfection I have ever come to with a fish soup. Altogether a thoroughly enjoyable plate of food. The menu is varied and interesting, and I spotted a good few things that I am looking forward to trying on return visits.
