Roompot Vakantiepark Hunzedal

A very nice vacation park at a nice location in the middle of Hunzedal.
The park is just at the edge of the Village Borger, so there is shopping and dining close by. If you do not feel like eating at the park restaurant or cook yourself.

All in all we were very positively surprised. We rented one of the budget chalets, having done this many times in other parks, we knew it sometimes can be a bit hit and miss.
But, the chalet was decent and clean, had what you need, except an oven.
It might be a little dated, the couches were not the most comfortable and it could have been nice with one or two sunbeds. But all in all it was more than acceptable.

The park itself is placed around a large artificial lake, which in the summer doubles as a swimming lake. Unfortunately a flock of Canada geese, one Nile Goose, a bar-headed goose and a few grey geese, had decided to make the lake their stomping grounds.

I will not blame the park management for this, it's difficult to control wildlife, and mind you, they were not aggressive or a real nuisance, they just quietly walked around the lake while keeping the lawn nice and neat while dropping fertilizer behind them.

Other than that, the facilities was more than decent, maybe a little dated.
But everything felt clean and well maintained.

There is plenty of things to explore around the park and entertaining your kids should be no problem.

House was perfect, close to store, beach, pretty much everything. Park was clean and well maintained. We ate in the restaurant a few times and while a tad expensive, the food and service were excellent! The park is in a nice location. Easy to get to many places and things to do while on vacation. Plenty to do on the park as well; bowling, mini golf, swimming in the pool or lake, water biking, bikes for rent and more. Would definitely come back here again.

An excellent week. Plenty of activities to do with the children, they need to update the website though as some activities are listed for 4yr old upwards but when you try to book it's from 5!
Restaurant was limited.
Accommodation was fine for what it was, a wooden hut but having a sand playground on the doorstep was brilliant 👏
Always having to go online to book some activities was irritating 🙄
Would come again but upgrade the accommodation

Great Park for families and kids. The stuff was always friendly. I like the big playground at the lake and the swimming pools. The cabine was in good shape and clean. We haven't used much of the animation program. Only thing that could improve is the restaurant. The food was pretty pricey for the quality.

Nice and clean, good size unit. Lots of space, trees and a nice little lake for the kids. We were off season, so nice and quiet. And province of Drenthe is just beautiful! We will be back again. Did miss a toaster in the unit.

Lovely place to relax. Indoor swimming and sauna available.

Tropical swimming pool was very nice, chalet has nice interior. Staff was very friendly

Nice houses in a park that is compared to other Roompot parks quite posh.
